Please, bring the Type 59, back to the gift shop. I realize they have been nerfed, but i really love the look of the type 59. It is a great tank if you know how to use it. Please Bring it back

And stop me from TRYING to get a rare tank? :(

well, dev said they maybe bring it back sometime. but problem is that Type 59 is very good(NOT BEST) medium tank that noob don't understand how to stop thus give it impression of OP.

Fixed your neg rep. I too want the Type 59. I'm hoping the Uber-Pershing (I know its Super Pershing but Uber sounds cooler) will fill my need for both a premium and a tough medium tank. Dev's said they will bring it back on certain specials.

the only nerf was to it's matchmaking value, which was offset by a buff to credit earnings...

I would love to own this tank. But people say its OP but all you have to do is track it. I would be willing to actully pay more than the $35 it was originally set for.

Be careful about what you ask for cause when the T10 Meds and TDs come as soon as 7.5 you may want to rethink your wants.  Just a thought is all.

No, it never should have been added in the first place, not because it was OP but because there is an almost identical tank in the game. The Type 59 is almost identical to the T-54. The T-54 was already in the game when the Type 59 was added. They've already removed 2 German premiums because the original French versions were added. They'll most likely do the same with the Russian Lend-Lease vehicles when the British tree comes out. The shouldn't have put the premium tank in that's a virtual copy of the T-54, not to mention it's practically broken the MM both times it was put in.

Idk what it is about people complaining about 5 Type 59s on each side, I think its hilarious because at least 2 of them will get ammo racked.

I love my 59, but I imagine WG will only offer it now on rare occaisions so that they don't have the same game balance issues with it as they did in the past.

I think the super pershing will not be so super as it is a premium and can't be better than an elite Pershing already at tier 8.

The fact remains that these two premiums, which are about on par with the originals were removed upon the arrival of their original counterparts.  The fact that the original of the Type 59, the T-54, was already in the game before the Type 59 was added also remains true.  If they're going to remove captured/borrowed tanks when the original counterparts are added, they SHOULD NOT add copies/borrowed/captured tanks AFTER the original is already in the game.

Also, I've looked up and compared the Type 59 and T-54:
1.  Practically the same turret with Type 59 having slightly less traverse and view range.  Those decreases are negligible.
2.  Type 59 gun is the same in all but the name as the stock T-54 gun.  Upgraded T-54 gun has 1.25 RPM higher ROF.  Final T-54 gun is better in every way.
3.  Type 59 does have considerably less horsepower
4.  Practically the same traverse
5.  Type 59 has same signal range as the stock T-54.  In fact, Type 59 radio is the same as the stock T-54 radio.

They're close enough in performance that the Type 59 is redundant, just like the Pz. B2 and Pz. 38H735 were when the originals were added and thus, should never have been added in the first place.  You can neg rep me all you want but that will not make my logic wrong.

Were not talking comparison between the Type 59 and the T-54. The whole purpose of this tank is it being fun to drive, and the credit printing ability. I love my medium tanks, much more then my heavies, and want the Type to come back for that very purpose, all those type haters can stick it because they don't know how to counter it. T-54 is a better tank in every way, Admittedly so. i just love the look and agility that tank possesses and don't want to grind to the T-54, although i prolly will  later on.
