It states T-8 but does that mean any tank up to and including a T-8 or straight t-8 tanks only?

Not 100% sure but I'll venture to guess it means Tier 8 max. With 42 tier point limit, all T8s only would leave you with atleast 2 points, no matter what, left over.

Also confused. Best guess is that it excludes TDs and Arty, but any Tier 8 and below Light/Medium/Heavy is ok.

"All tanks" in "World of Tanks" does in fact mean everything at tier 8 :Smile_blinky:

Ok but can i take a t-5 light tank like a t-50-2 or do all tanks have to be in the t-8 bracket?

Yes you can take a tier 5 light. Limits mean the max tier you can bring, and there are no tier 8 light tanks yet.
