Real Reason for removal of 107mm gun on SU-85

French gun starting with Tier V S-35 CA(whose top gun sucks and is much worse than this)

Soviet 107mm.

Basically it is to make way for french TD with big gun instead of Soviet...


FRANCE BIAS???(no, but seriously do french people own a lot of shares of WG or something?)

first people complain that wg are making soviet op because they are russians now you complain about wg making french op because they have connections to french people? why cant you be happy for once

Not complaining.  I was just wondering if it is true that French people invested a lot into WG and politely "asked" them for this.

I never complain about Russian bias(there is no such thing) and I do not care about this almost-real france bias.

Almost...real.
French TD is bigger than Soviet, so it easy to hit and camo isn't as good. That should balance it IMO.

talking about bias. the french tier 10 TD seems to have a poor gun - lower dpm even than that of the JgE-100 I believe.

Ther real reason my little halfwits is that the match maker is getting redone so tanks will no longer fight tanks more than two tiers above them.  The high end guns are meant to engage high tier tanks. In 7.5 you,ll no longer face tigers in a Russian t-28. Get it kids?

like said before they are removing the 107 because it would be too op for the new mm.

Agreed. Have played the vehicle and it is OP against same tier.

This, I toke the big gun off mine and went back to the 90mm. The 105 may have a bigger punch, but it is very inaccurate, slooow aiming and reload. I may go back to the standard 17pdr.

Sure, so they add 105mm and not remove it.

That has similar penetration, better accuracy, SAME damage, and slower rate of fire(Which does not matter because it one-shots many things already).

So basically you are saying French tanks WILL fight tanks 2 tiers or more above?

You do realize thatit has a 3 round autoloader that shoots 850 damage per shot, right? It has a 5 second reload interval, meaning it can dish out around 2500 damage in 10 seconds before loading, meaning that if all pen, only Maus has a good chance of surviving a burst.

Everyone needs to come to the realization that no one is going to be happy, No matter what. Nothing WG can do will make people happy, We're all on the WG bus. Where it goes, we go. If you dont like it, get off. simple as that

Except that that T82 is keeping its 105, which will be capable of one shotting literally everything it comes across in 7.5, assuming the haven't messed with it.  The Hetzer will still have its amazing derp, and the S-35 CA is keeping its 105 which was only slightly worse than the SU-85's 107.

oh yes, I totally forgot about it having an autoloader. and thanks for the info.

These comment always make me wonder -- who is this "people" you're refering to?  It's as if certain posters can't grasp the fact that the playerbase is not a single gestalt entity.
