I currently have a T29, and it totally kicks ass. However, I noticed that the T32 doesn't get a better gun than the 105mm. Is it worth it to research and buy the T32? What's so good about it?

No.

But then again, Yes.

Or maybe No.

Perhaps?

Possibly.

No way.

Of Course!

Totally.

I hate the T32.

I love the T32.

I hate Matchmaker.

I think I covered all the answers you will get.  If you enjoy the t29 then you will love the T32.  I would say go for it.

Well there are small differences but I suggest you keep the T29

congrats on your 1700'th post!

Also, obviously get it, you have a pershing for a hull and a T95 for a turret.

The T32 problem is the gun and the penetration with it. Also had the issue that hard hits on the turret break the tracks and than you get pounded by arty.
Everything else is fine on this tank.

Suggestion:
If you have enough credits keep the T29 and get the T32 so you can move up the line.
The way to the M103 with the first 120mm can be long with the T32, but once you got there it's much better.

Yes same gun better armor and turret.  The T32 is a better tank all around with the exception of having the same gun.

That turret is a monster capable of bouncing tier 10 guns

T32 has no huge upgrade from T29 but it is enough as a decent tier8. There is no way to give up the T32 if you want to proceed the US heavy line.

Just had a game with my T32, holding 5 tanks (including a lowe, t59, tiger and 2 tier 5) alone for nearly 10 minutes, without losing a single hp. Sadly, all my team mate died in that 10 minutes and I was killed from my back.

T32 is a big enough upgrade over the T29.  For starters the turret and tank overall is much smaller, that alone is a help in game.  Then the smaller stature mixed with far better armor means that the front of the turret is truly how ALL the US turrets should be....impenetrable from the front.  THe design of the T32 upper turret is a 10x upgrade over teh T29 who has a HUGE bulging hatch to shoot, 2 bulging cheeks to shoot(take that in whatever sick manner you so choose) and the turret sides and rear are butter and HUGE.  The T32 turret is ARMORED WELL all the way around...298/197/152...Also, the 127 T32 hull is decent in a pinch.

The gun is the same but on the T32 it gets better Accuracy, RoF and all in all becomes a fair bit more reliable

THe T32 mobility is a fair bit better then the T29 as well, while you are in higher tier battles, it just means you have to play better, which in a twisted kind of way makes the T32 more fun then the T29...In a pinch the T32 can play the role of medium...

In short...YES!!! GET THE T32!!!!  Its not to bad...it really isnt..

As said - over and over again on this post. Get it to grind up the USA heavy line, but you will be very disapointed compaired to the T29. Everything said here is true and I will add one more. Since it is a tier higher you will generally fight higher (how is that for SMRT - smart). The gun is the problem though. It just does not compete at the Tier 9+ level and barely holds it's own at Tier 8. The turret is nice but if I wanted a moving bunker i would get a TD. I have kept my T 29 and I still love it. I will not be keeping the T 32, it is just a step in the grind.

The best advice I found to help me with my T32 was "It's a brawler"

THis simple statement made my game play, win or loose, much more fun and I believed more effective.

Get up close and personal with the other tank and rely on your turret armor to get you through. Once you are close you will tak teh advantage away from other tanks that acannot get thier gun down to hit your hull and your turret I've seen reflect T95 shots at range.

I loved both the T29, and the T32.

My advice would be to get the T32, because it really is the better tank ... and the difference in matchmaking, to me, wasn't even something I noticed. The turret on the T32 really rewards hull down tactics. I also have to admit that in my T32, I carried a few gold rounds and was willing to use them when needed. The gun is weak for it's tier, so I had no problem packing a little gold ammo.

I've only got 42 battles and a 50% win rate on my T32, but I'm having a hell of a time working out the hull down part of it.  On my T29, it was a lot easier because the turret stood so tall.  This tank, I feel like if I can make a shot at all, the other guy can nail my hull.

Any advice on that aspect?  I believe I have the other mechanics down decently - I have a good hit ratio, etc, and a 51% overall win rate.

Funny, I'm in the exact same position as you.  I know I "need" to get the T32 to move up the US line, but I enjoy the T29, and am not really looking forward to all the disadvantages of the T32.

Still, I say make the jump - keep the T29 if you can spare the coin/slot.  One of the reasons I haven't made the jump myself is because I'm all out of slots atm.

Oh like you know what you're talking about. Please.

Oh wait. Yes you do. Nevermind

I can tell you, OP, that from the standpoint of my T-43, its a tough nut to crack. Yesterday I wasted like 8 rounds on one. Two at point blank to go 'Oh shiznit I'm at a wrong angle I'm not penning oh panic !' and 6 to hide around a corner permatracking it while my team mates killed it. So from a med point of view, and not a very good med player at that, its a scary tank. You should get it.

Lol, the T32 and any heavy tank vs a medium its easy..you rush the thing, take the first round to your face, then aim to track it, shoot the side and every like 2nd round track it...the slow ass traverse rates on heavies will ensure their destruction, especially against Russian and Chinese meds who have this vastly inflated traverse and mobility rates....
