I won't say to much other than what GD said... he and I both discussed it at length and agree that we will not be using the same set of rules to determine tiebreakers. I also spent quite some time yesterday creating our own set.... in the NA you can expect to see something more along the lines of a straight win/loss comparison (no teams being moved from the equation), then head to head, then a head to head against any team who has already qualified, and finally, if tied in those, then a rematch.

Those are still a work in progress, but we obviously want it to be much more clear, and made known to the players prior to the event, not during.

...ok so I did say more than GD said :Smile-hiding:

Well that's good news.

Somewhat-related question: Do you have any clue/are you willing to tell us if your events will be co-run by another entity (like ural steel and russian esports federation)?

Lol well seeing as how we won't be in Russia, I doubt anything thought you'd make that mistake. And if you did, I'd have to let gomes loose on you... and he doesn't take too kindly to epic failure... ;)

You should be... but only if I can convince him to stop fighting trees for an afternoon in order to come after you!

Just a question because I wasn't there but heard that the RU teams were hauling in boxes of gear chairs ect..etc..

Were they allowed to bring their own monitors, chairs and computers?

I think everyone was allowed to bring their own gear (except the pc so that no mods, etc were brought in) if they wanted.

A lot of the things they brought I believe were provided by their own sponsors, like the gaming chairs. I guess that's the perks for being good enough to be sponsored.

Next time I would definitely bring my own mouse/headset and monitor if it is allowed (those 15" monitors left alot to be desired)!

So I'm still alive, even though tbh I don't really feel that way right now.  Thank you WG for getting me home safe and sound despite my best efforts to die in Moscow.  To all those who had to watch/help/carry my fat butt around, you have my sincere apologies and most heartfelt thanks!

From what I recall Moscow was a blast (minus the games of course).

I took pics. That after party was pretty nuts...I made a drunk video with the Gamespot.com guys :\

Absolutely. I'll tell Mugsy to talk with you more about it. We're in the process of reaching out to you guys for feedback on your experience anyway, so now is a good time.

Is there a time frame we could expect this discussion to take place, memories fade quickly, it would be ideal if someone could reach out to us, or some type of Teamspeak or Skype round table discussion could be scheduled. so far, I don't think anyone from WG has contacted the participants directly.
