I have downloaded World of Tanks now three times over a period of more than two months. Every time I do and try to run the game, I get the message that "The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Well, thanks for the useless advice.
This is probably a very common occurrance. However I'm new to this forum and a brief scan of it and a search for posts with d3dx9_43.dll in them produces nothing. Is there some kind of way to download the .dll file in question and put it in place or some such simple solution as that? Anything has got to be better than waiting hours for the download to complete ... again, only to be told that it still isn't working.

It means he simply miss full installation of DirectX 9 with redistributable libraries. No admin privileges will help to come over this fact. He simply need this file, thats all. After you download one just put it in One of three followings locations: WoT game directory ( usually C:\games\WoT ), C:\Windows, C:\Windows\System32.

Full guide with pictures
Just this one file download ( this site is pretty much trusted source of dll's )
And hint for future: in case of problem, putting your topic title in Google is best step to start.
