I was just curious how the match maker works, is there any info on it somewhere?
Mainly I was wondering why it does not match the same tiers together, is it because there's not enough players? As a new player I don't understand why it matches high tiers with low tiers, there must be some reason that I have not figured out yet.

2. Yes, NA server is the 3rd for server size, only better than the SEA server last I checked. RU server requires multiple clusters to handle all of their traffic so theoretically they have better matchmaking. For the most part this will be compensated with the incoming change to matchmaking in 7.5
4. Because matchmaking counts light tanks as scouts and uptiers them so a scout tank can be in every match. Arty have OP guns for their tier, so they're REALLY uptiered as well
