Yes or no? Then again is the lorraine even going to be worth having afterwords? Hard enough keeping it alive in tier 8 matches.

The Lorraine is incredible right now? That monster 100mm and incredible hp/ton make it an absolute pain to fight.

Long 90 will just be sent to the Depot.

Lorraine can choose between 90mm AMX 13 gun stock, and the 100mm. No new guns.

About if it can fight Tier 9s? I dont know. They might have just placed it it's T8 7.1 original stats.

You need to get it so the BatChat can mount it. The 90 DCA 45 is being taken out, leaving the Bat with the 90 mm F3. You should also save the 24,200 free XP so you can buy and mount the suspension on the bat right away in order to mount the 100.

I plan on finishing my grind then selling my Lorraine as soon as the patch goes live.

Honestly, I have a batchat, and find that I liked my lorraine more.  But yes, get the gun.

Does the 7.5 Lorraine's 100 have the same reload speed, or does it get the batchat's reload times?

Unless you are trying to get the Bat before 7.5, then you have no choice as you need the 100mm to do that.  However, if you are only getting the Lorry before the patch, then wait on the 100mm as you will not waste the exp/credits on the about to be removed 90mm.

Likewise, the engines.  Definitely get the tracks though, pre patch.  They will be pricier after the patch.  Everything else (except the price of the tank) stays the same, cost wise

I find the 100mm is awfully inaccurate compared to the 90mm even tough they have the same accuracy stats.

I am having a blast with my new Lorraine.  I have the 90mm from another tank and am having fun before they take it away.  I killed 3 damaged tanks in 6 seconds, which has never happened before.  It's fragile and dies a lot, but its fun to play if you have the right attitude.

Guys if you don't like the Lorraine, you will not like the Bat.  It is exactly the same play style.
