E-75 Best engine worth it?

Is the best engine worth it? It's the last thing to get, it's gotta be right? Seems like a heck of a jump in hp considering? And thanks for the posts, It's either that or start a new tank.

Yes it becomes much more mobile.

The last engine on the E-75 is the best investment you can make for that tank. Seriously. That engine is so good that it'd be a bargain at twice the price. I consider the 1200 hp engine more important for E-75 than the 128 L/55 over the 105 L/68. Not getting the top engine on E-75 would IMHO be something only a complete idiot would do. It makes the E-75 from something that's as slow as a Löwe into something that will out-accelerate and out-turn an elited King Tiger.

Pretty much Lert highly recommended me to get the top engine first when I get the E-75. Man, I can't wait to evolve my KT to the E-75!
"KT is evolving!"
*Insert pokemon evolution music*
"KT has evolved into the almighty E-75!"

Never driven an E-75, but Id get the engine. I mean, what could you possibly lose? Greater mobility and more HP (So youre not immobilized all the time). Id go for it, I like being able to run around and support the team wherever necessary.
Lert's explanations are always better, I put it the simple way

Get engine before gun, i have recently got my E-75 and the top engine makes it compete so much better.
I no longer fear (but still respect) BatChats etc.
The KT 105mm cannon is still viable, I couldn't believe how slow the E-75 is without the top motor.

If I were going to regrind the E75, then I'd upgrade in the following order: Tracks, turret, engine, short 10.5, long 10.5. The tank can be played like a buffed Tiger-2 using the 88/71 until you can acquire the long 10.5, the short 10.5 performance vs. the 88/71 just isn't worth the extra shell cost, so grind on past it and don't bother mounting a 10.5 until you research the long one.

I'm about 6K XP away from pulling the trigger on getting the E75... that is I'll have the XP to get it, tracks, 2nd turret, 12.8 and top engine... been holding off on making the jump until I see what happens with 7.5... I may just take that XP and go with the T110e3 but I want to see it in action before I do...
But going from 870Hp to 1200Hp on the engine of a 94 ton tank has got to be a huge boost...

I bought the big engine last of all the upgrades and afterwards now see the error of my ways. The big engine doesn't really increase the overall speed, but boy you get there fast! It turns a previously slow arti-bait into a real juggernaut. That increased mobility will make your armor even better when you have fast enough acceleration to angle your armor when you know a big hits about to come in!
The 12,8 cm gun is very nice, but boy that engine should be the very first thing you ever buy for this tank.
Of the 8 tanks in my garage, the E-75 is by FAR my favorite tank.

Yes, it makes it very nimble. It is not fast by anymeans, but very agile.
Like you said, really helps with angling. When you see someone aiming at ur lower glacis u can swing ur hill within a second and deflect the blow. ALso very much helps if you get flanked.

The 1200hp engine makes the E-75 dance. The best decision I ever made in the game was to unlock the 1200hp engine before the 128mm gun. Besides with the long 105 and the 2nd turret and knowledge of weakspots, you can do pretty damn well without the 128.
I suppose people who've played the KV-4, where 1200hp isn't remotely enough, might underestimate the E-75's engine, but keep in mind it's 25 tons lighter then the KV-4.

And also, that top engine being researched on the E75 also makes it available for the E-50, should you choose to go up the German wartime medium line at a later date.

Ya thanks all that posted, I got the engine and man, ya it's great. I see how I prolonged the ranking of it as i was to slow to really go anywhere, most of the time i'd just hang back and snipe. It truly is worth it.
