KV-2 guns are too overpowered compared to...

Its armor sucks, its got no speed and the reload time of an artillerys. It has a very uniqe playstyle that not many can use effectavly, its VERY far from OP. 110 pen can barly reliably pen stuff at tier 6 nevermind 7-8. Its HE damage averages from around 200-400, iv mabye gotten around 10 or 12 full damage hits in the time iv spend playing the tank. And seriously? NO ONE uses the 107 on this tank, T-150 is a MUCH better platform for that cannon.

After watching the lethal effects of the KV-2 and its 167 pen, 300 dmg & 110 pen, 700 dmg guns I am wondering why the t-34-85 and su-85 are having their
larger caliber guns removed in the 7.5 release, if the reason is that they are going to be too op for the new tier battle match ups.
At tier 6, this tank (KV-2) is doing extreme damage with 5-6 plus kills each round and many one shots
These guns are way overpowered compared to anything else in its tier class. (all nations)
Are there plans to reduce these extremely op guns to fit there tier 6 class rating ?

considering I was just one shot by the derp gun, for 870 health at 200 meters while he was driving, I don't care how long the reload is
Assuming this happened (i highly doubt it) I'd like to point out a couple of things. It was 870hp. So your clearly a high tier tank. Tier 7 most likely 8. Means your a big target. You said he was moving, not you. So I'd take a guess the kv2 had both aiming equipments, smooth ride, the other aiming perk, and a lucky shot. Congrats to him for luck combined with smart equipment and perk choice. One lucky shot doesn't make a tank OP, but let's go ahead and not use Common sense.

Agree with OP, the 152 is stupidly overpowered. SOme of this is due to the HE glitch.
You realize that guns have more stats than just damage and penetration, right? Try sniping with one, and them fire a follow-up shot within a reasonable amount of time. The reload on my ELC is twice as fast and that means I often have to run away while reloading; a KV-2 cannot run, so nearly anything that doesn't die in one shot will kill it.

The KV-2 is only scary when he has allies to cover him on the reload. I've played the KV-2 extensively, both before the split and after, and the KV-2 is absolutely a second-line tank.
If I have allies to back me up, I know I can crawl out and derp someone for 500-700 damage and then sit patiently and quietly for the reload, safe in the knowledge that my medium and heavy friends will keep the enemy occupied until my two overworked loaders can jam another monster shell into the breech.
Alone, a KV-2 is easily flanked, tracked, and destroyed. It's all about how you approach it.

The KV-2 is also extremely slow tank. The gigantic turret is a perfect target to shoot at.The guns are both quite inaccurate and suffer from long aim times. They might hit hard but then again, it's nice to be able to do something once you actually get to deal with the enemy.
The 152 can be very rewarding gun but you're often deadmeat if you happen to miss or bounce a shot due to the horrendous reload time.
I do love the KV-2 with all it's flaws, and it's far from being OP. And no, I'm certainly not racking up 5-6 kills each match.

I blasted one today in my KV-1 6 shots to the turret with the 85mm gun. I used to have problems with them until I figured out that the turret is simply a giant metal bullseye. Even from the front you rarely bounce, and if you damage that silly derp gun the tank is completely useless. I stopped playing it because it was just too one-dimentional.
