Assault, reduce defence teams by 1.

Real life assault is a hard thing to do. In many places attackers has and required more forces to win.
I propose to either reduce the number of defending people to 14. or reduce number of points allocated to defense team.
The tank from bottom half should be removed, not from top.

Are you kidding? Just get rid of it. Defense can be just as frustrating as offense(unless i'm in a scout tank muahah). BORRRINGGG!

You know on certain maps the defenders are at the disadvantage.
Also booo down with assault.

I am curious what does real life have to do with this though, although I feel attacking teams are starting to learn (OMG IMPOSSIBLE I KNOW RIGHT?) how to play the maps and are starting to win.

if ur gonna take the bottom tank, u might as well just leave it in there as the bottom tanks are usually arty, or crappy tanks that dont make a difference.... so i say leave it as is, and learn how to assault better.

Yet another thread from someone that is bad@assaulting. I find that I have just as good of a chance to win regardless of whether I am on the assaulting team or on the defending team. Learn where you can go to spot the enemy, but avoid direct fire. Move as a unit in assault and make sure you have good spotters in defense. Both require teamwork, which can be hard, but can be done. I won twice on sand river in the past 12 hours, once on defense and once assaulting, flat out we out played the other team.

Defending is easier than attacking on the maps as the defenders already get advantageous positioning and require little communication to succeed. The attackers on the other hand need good communications / coordination and positive team morale to succeed, which is the same reason why WG cancelled the escort battle mode and the reason why most attacking teams fail.
btw: it can be done. I've particapated in several wins on Prokhorvka on the attacking team on the test server where the russian players are more aggressive and the chat window is constantly scrolling with players coordinating their efforts.

and in real life, defenders actually dug in, used infantry and AT guns, and generally had time to up their own defenses, so assault is fine, also i like assault.

Assault is a flawed concept that can never be ballanced to everyones satisfaction.
Simple fix... deep six it.

I see the attackers win commonly; on some maps the attackers seem to have the edge, as cipher12 says.
