Many of you probably already know of the website however I only ran across it recently.  I know Wargamming has a few operational WWII tanks and so those with the cash may be interested in these refurbished vehicles.  I have no connection with the sellers I just though it was a cool thing to share with all the tank enthusiats here :)

http://www.milweb.ne...ieds.php?type=1

Just some examples:

Perfect 1943 M18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer
For any serious collector the M18 is the absolute pinnacle of WWII Armor. This tank saw action in Bosnia and has the battle scars to prove it, some of which were left during restoration. Everything on the tank is functional including the hydraulic turret traverse and the radio-intercom system.

M24 Chaffee
This is one of the most manouverable and easy driven WWII tanks.

Stuart M3 Rare Guberson Diesel Version
Requires complete restoration. Guiberson radial engine.

Exceptional 1943 M3A1 Stuart Light Tank
From sixteen I brought back from Brazil four years ago, this is the best- which I kept for myself , now completely and lovingly restored by professional specialists.

I for one think the restoration of some of these tanks is amazing.  It's too bad that German WWII vehicles are hard to come by due to various reasons, although there is a listing for a company that makes replicas.  Once again these are for folks with deep pockets.  However the rest of us can dream about using our fictional lottery winnings to buy these someday.  :)

If this kind of listing is verboten then my apologies.

Hehe pretty cool.  I didn't realize the M10 was called an Achilles.

I was amazed that some of these are still rolling around.  Makes sense though that after WWII many went on to serve within the armed forces of other nations.  Think there was an M48 there for sale too but it looks all cut up.

Recently, just for grins, looked up PzIII's since I knew that was the most mass produced German tank.  Still a few floating around but not enough for them to end up in anything but a serious collectors shop.

The Achilles is a British modification of the M10 with the 17 pounder.

Anyways, do want a tank!

M10 in British service was called Achilles. Had the 17pdr instead of the 76mm.

They need to keep the gun activated... We already allow people to own assault riffles, having a functional tank, given appropriate license, should be covered under 2nd amendment :Smile-izmena: .
