The World of Tanks development team is excited to announce that update 7.5 has been successfully released for the NA server on August 2, 2012.

7.4 and 7.5 has seen a lot of reworking and re-balancing of individual tanks and tank tree's as well as the introduction of T10 TD's and Mediums.
This has been a progression towards implementing and providing you our players with what we believe is a much better and fairer Matchmaker.

The Match-Making as been reworked for the majority of vehicles and provides a tighter tier spread.
Now players won't normally see vehicles of more than two tiers difference to the tier of his/her own vehicle

The MM is still putting tier 5 tanks with tier 10s
and it is not putting the -2 +2 MM to work

and no they are not arty

So far, I've only tested the high tiers, but it seems to be working damn well.

Edit: It's great, good spread, better and more fair battles. It hiccups sometimes, but great work.

which T5 tank are you talking about? if its a light/scout then....<see chart above>

I find it odd that most of the premium tier 5's got a favorable MM adjustment except the Ram-II. Any particular reason why the Ram-II was not included?

Otherwise I love the changes.

Definitely changing the game and in good ways. But I still think lights need some love and I can't wait for tier X arty so we can finally rebalance the arty MM.

I do very much enjoy what the new MM means for mediums, heavies, and tank destroyers, but I think the practice of tiering light tanks abouve their actual tier should be scaled back.  For example, right now a tier 5 light tanks gets MM between 7 and 12.  Perhaps alter that to 6 and 9.  With the new generation of highly agile medium tanks at high tiers, it is not essential to have a light tank in every high tier battle.

In the battles I've played so far, its very enjoyable!

Tier V lights still get a raw-deal compared to their higher tier brethren.

Oh, and thanks for posting the table with english headers!

Please people Tier 5 lights are end tier elite scouts. They are needed in top tier battles.

i dont understand something, the chart says that t8 heavies will see t 8,9 10 tanks,   then why when i play my t 4 light  do i see these tanks  .   I understand that the high tier battles need scouts, then why not  make some  for the high tier battles, designate some  higher tier mediums to take the scout role in higher tier battles , or even  make ifvs  such as the bradley, bdrm .... etc. in the real world thats what has taken over the role of the light scout. and if someone truly enjoys the role of scout , they can make the decision to persue that role in higher tier tanks , maby even  give them some anti tank guided missles so they can fight back instead of hopeing that  the t8 runs out of ammo before he kills you in your  t4 "scout".   this game insists on putting my ww2 tech level tank up against  1970 level tech and killing power.  

heavy tanks never fight more than two tiers above them,  the same holds true for the medium tank line and tank destroyers.   why dosnt it hold true for the lights

the spg line does go 4 tiers up but i have played the spgs, at least they can damage a t 8  and if very lucky 1 shot some

i really do enjoy playing my p 38na   its a fun little tank to drive, and im getting better at playing the role of scout  but this mismatch is doing nothing for my survival stats unless i go run to the corner and hide

maby even every once in a blue moon , put us in a t1 battle so we get to feel like the shark  in the guppy tank too, instead of only feeling like the guppy

You fixed MM but replaced it with increased RNG.

90mm M36 bouncing off of a T-25 at 200 meters?
