These tables and the information in them is NOT official, they were obtained through tests conducted by members of the Russian WOT community, I take no credit.
---
---
In 8.6 things have changed, someone else picked up the slack. Format changed.
---
Tables updated on 13 September 2013; All credit goes to people in the original thread still working on it.

---
Find a tank name, ignore all the numbers until you reach the percentages. All you need to know the first % figure is camo standing still, second is camo on the move and third is camo when firing.
They are followed by camonet, camopaint, and camo skill.
-
Roughly what those % figures are is the amount of view range you negate to anyone trying to spot you.

I wasn't surprised that the T-62A had camo that was twice better than what the E-50M had, but I was shocked to see the M48 had camo that was just almost as bad as the E-50M's!

I thought the Object 704's and 268's armour was god-like, now I see even the T95 has more :(

Russian camoflage values both stationary, moving, and fireing are averaging better than everything else!?

Shocker...

Yup, if they released a table about accuracy on the move bonus, germany would win.
I'm not sure what's USA/France's special thing however :/

impressive at Germany tier 10 TD's camo.
3% vs Object 268's 17% still
.5% vs object 268 11% move

some of the german TDs are very close or better than the soviet ones.
ditto for the other clases.
for mediums/lights you have to look at the moving stats as well.
HTs camos irrelevant.

This mechanic was custom made for them, they knew what they were doing at launch.  Sure, there's some they have to give in to, like the T-95, but still, it's something to counter the other nation's abilities to snipe well since they can creep in close enough where accuracy really doesn't matter.

It is possible that they were too lazy to recheck all the tanks' camo and that one among others is from 7.4, even so the camo wouldn't of changed much most likely.

This is why Russian tanks are going to see other tanks farther away and get in the first shot.  Which, of course, meshes nicely with the huge ass alpha and penetration you see on so many of them.   It's not even a matter of "creeping" anywhere, you're simply not going to spot them.

We've all seen the 704's that vanish in the middle of the street.

Accuracy, accuracy on the move, etc doesn't make up for this.  You can't use an advantage when you're dead.

Much in the same vein, some other tanks' nominal armor thicknesses don't mean anything if the other guns fly right through it anyways - they get crap values for *everything* but that, and it does them no good.  Meanwhile shots bounce off the "thinly armored" Russian tanks like mad.

I'm not saying the game isn't fun... just... I see what they did there....

An unexpected statement form someone with your stats.
Ultimately the camo difference amounts to no more than 10% which is at best 40 meters, soviet low accuracy does not get compensated for with such a small camo difference. And their heavy tanks have less camo than American ones.
Or are you just trolling?
