Wait, What?

ПТ 9     T30    8    1,5    1,85      155 mm AT Gun T7

Does not compute?! T30 has better camo firing than moving?!

I am also still saddened to see the premium type 62's camo hasn't been tested though. Then again, since it basicly is the wz-131, probably can expect the same values.
I am rather impressed with the camo values of the chinese lights. Especially considering their better than the AMX 13 series.

Ouch.  The drop from the JP-IV to the JPanther is huge.  The JPanther is my favorite tank, I was hoping it would be wicked sneaky like the Stug.  Guess I'll have to learn a new play style once (if) I get to it.

I believe that tank can do rather well as a shock td with its powerful 105mm

Does anyone else think it's odd that the house-on-tracks KV-4 heavy tank has a better on the move camo rating than a Panther medium tank?

They say there is no favoritism (coff,Soviet tanks diappearing out in the open, coff, coff) in this game only historical values. :Smile_sceptic:

Did you ever see a Jagdpanther? It's tall, my friend. How could it have good camo?

The KV4 is also tall (very!), but somehow it manages better camouflage than tanks that are literally half it's size and weight...  Apparently size isn't as much of a factor as having a red star is.

T95 in game is small. In real life, it's tall. Talks a lot about American bias, don't you think?  :Smile_veryhappy:

There is a problem with the information provided. According to the wiki, the formula to calculate the spotting range is:

spottingRange = viewRange - (viewRange - 50) * camoFactor

Say that we have a tank that has a camoFactor of 0.5, and a spotting tank that has a view range of 200.

spottingRange = 200 - 150 * 0.5
spottingRange = 125 (37.5% reduction)

Now say that that another tank is trying to spot the same camouflaged tank, but he has 300 view range.

spottingRange = 300 - 250 * 0.5
spottingRange = 175 (41,6% reduction)

In the first case, a certain tank reduced the view distance of his spotter by 37.5%. In the second case, the same camouflaged tank reduces the view distance of another enemy by 41,6%. This means that the base camouflage of a tank cannot be expressed as the percentage of reduction of enemy view range, because that percentage varies depending on the view range. At the most, those percentages can be used as a means of comparison for different tanks, but that's only if the spotter tank was the same for all tests.

Isn't there any table where we can see the baseCamo or camoFactor for each tank, in order to make precise calculations?

I would love to know the camo values for WZ-131 and 132 when using 85mm gun! :D
