First time ever I've hit a battle with WGA and I even got shot by the Chieftain! 
We won but I got a big scare around the half way mark when I was surrounded by about 5 red marks and I was hiding in buildings on sand river. Amazingly I even got a kill with my partially upgraded T29 using a crew from the M6 (so they played more like a 88% crew).

Some of us haven't earned our Tier X mediums/TDs yet...
We go through all the company tiers in rotation, we'll hit Absolute eventually.
Yeah, we threw that one. We weren't aggressive enough in prosecuting the town. Should have rolled in faster.

was fun, took an hour against random TC's but then we got lucky and faced WG on steppes and won

Great game when facing you guys. Some of you are not that bad, but some of you guys need to work on knowing your weak points. Mugsy kept shooting my frontal hull armor and kept bouncing off. And watch out Chieftain, I'm coming for you. (btw nice arty kill)

Was up to 2am in the morning to take part (live in the UK), but it was a lot of fun, even if our TC newer managed to battle WG.
It is always a great event since it makes people play tanks with tactics. This almost newer happen in a pub match.
So many thanks indeed for a fun event!
The only small recommendation I would like to make is that the WG team splits itself into 3 groups of 5, and each group gets 10 members of a clan to help them out, this would create 3 teams. It would be a lot of fun for the clan members helping and most important it would give a chance of fighting WG 300% bigger.
