How is World of Tanks determining screen resolution options? Deselecting EDID and manually setting max monitor resolution and refresh in display properties in AMD Catalyst Control Center nor changing to a different monitor driver that has higher resolution and refresh rate doesn't get it to work.
Was running WOT at 1280x800@85hz on XP x64.
Manually setting 1280x800 in the WOT preferences file doesn't take, rewrites and resets to 1024x768.
Windows 7 desktop is running at 1280x800, limited resolution selection only in 3d.

Solved it: from playing with softTH, their custom directx dll that's put in the game directory was the culprit.

Hi i have run into a similar issue. I am unable to select the fullscreen option in the video settings and my resolution choices are limited to 1920x1080 and 800x600. I was wondering if you could elaborate on how you fixed your issue so i may try to replicate your results thank you.
