It's nice how the hat works with the domes, isn't it?

Maybe we can get a gaming website to sponsor us, since we win and whatnot. (and have cool hats)

I have questions now that we've won. When do we get travel information? Do we need visas to enter Russia? Will they be supplying them? Will they need our passport information? I'm waiting to get my passport, just sent in the application. How long do I have before WG needs that information? How much is paid for? Will I need to bring some Russian money? Should I talk to my doctor about getting shots?

In order of questions asked:
  • When passport/visas are taken care of
  • Yes, as in they will tell you to mail your passport to the nearest Russian embassy/diplomatic office, you will have to pay for this most likely(never applied for visas before)
  • Yes
  • Yes
  • By the end of august, preferably as soon as possible. Expedited processing is a required must, you will not get it in time if you did not expedite/pay for next day air both ways.  Expedited will take just under 2 weeks.
  • Lodging, travel, food(no information thus far exactly how much...)
  • Probably
  • No

How many of you other teams were wise enough to include someone who speaks Russian on your team?

We're so pro.

( you can borrow him, but it will cost you)

Last year we only had to cover 1-2 meals on our own.  Mostly breakfast.

PS-Russian coffee is red.

When the spoon stands up in the coffee, you know it's European. When the spoon stands up and then melts, you know it's Russian.

Now that explains why my spoon went missing last year ;) Maybe having the hotel next to a Vodka museum where you can actually buy Vodka is not a good idea for some, lol.

Congrats to all who qualified. Give them hell/shell :)
