If the camo is only going to be applied to the maps it matches with ( IE: the sand camo for sand ect..) can we have more than 1 camo in the inventory so that no matter what map you get on you will have camo for it?
You have 3 camo in inventory and the game automatically puts on the camo that coresponds to the map?

one reason ive been holding off buying camo is that if i buy a permenant set, if i later change it, then i have to rebuy the previous set. could we have the system changed so that its more like unlocking the camo, so that previously purchased camo is kept unlocked, and can be changed fr free or with a far smaller fee, say 10-30 gold or 1-2K credits for the perma-camos.
heck, id settle for a per terrain setup- you can have more than 3 bought, but only 1 per terrain in effect.
if free, id like to get one camo for each of the 3 scenarios to always have an appicable camo set.

This sounds great! Now on to business- will the Germans receive a better bonus than other nations? Afterall- only Germany put much stock in camouflage for its tanks. The Germans spent much time and effort working out schemes to hide vehicles (most noteably the autumn "ambush" pattern), unlike any other country- so will German vehicles have an edge in this area as they should? GASP- German vehicles given an edge???

A step in the right direction. I'd like to see more customizable configurations to choose specific camoflauge for each map for people who opt to buy more than 1 desert camo.

If i can buy camo with the 5% bonus for silver i'm happy.
After, the pattern may not be for my liking, but that i can mod it :D

This is great news but is it possible to have another slot for "Urban" maps like Himmelsdorf or Port?

So we gotta buy three camos at the price of the ones we have atm. Bleg. Hope that changes.

Great! Now i'll actually buy camo. My TDs have been waiting for this since camo was first introduced.

this looks great! very excited
but i do wish old camo's you unlocked with gold were not locked up agian when you get a new camo! i mean, ppl are really paying a premium cash payment (gold) for these camos - losing the camo to get another one really seems like a rip-off!

A couple of points:
- Yes more types of camo could be added in the future including urban.
- If you have purchased camo in the past with gold it will be refunded (to my knowlege) if you still own the tank. You will then get to choose the use the new camo system if you want. All old camo will be removed.
- If you choose just to buy a winter camo on a tank, when you are on other types of maps you will have the standard non camo appearance.
- You may not have 2 camos of the same type on the same tank. If you buy a second one the first is replaced.
- Prices have not been set yet.

In update 7.0 camouflages were introduced in the game. With them tankers are now able to change the exterior of their battle vehicles. But aside of adding more and more patterns, no changes were done to the system itself. In update 8.0 we plan to change this situation.
In the next World of Tanks update the camouflage system will be reworked. Players will receive the possibility to purchase 3 types of camouflage which will coincide with 3 types of maps – ‘Summer’, ‘Winter’ and ‘Sand’. The ‘Summer’ pattern will be displayed only on summer maps, like Prohorovka, while the ‘Winter’ pattern will camouflage tanks only on ‘Winter’ maps. The ‘Sand’ camouflage will color the vehicle in a similar way on the more sandy maps like El Halluf.
Camouflage will adapt to the landscape automatically if the appropriate pattern is purchased for the vehicle.
The camouflage menu will be changed (seeing this is only a draft, we were unable to create an English version):

But the main thing in the update is the fact that adaptive camouflage will now give a slight bonus to the camouflage rates of the vehicle. Currently it’s set to 5%, but the end percentage may change after tests. Bonus camouflage will stack with camouflage net and camouflage crew skill.
Camouflage, as it is currently, can be temporary purchased for credits or permanently set up (until a new purchase is made) on the vehicle using gold.
We want to remind you that this is only a work concept that may change upon your feedback and Public Test statistics.
Please provide your feedback on these changes!

It still has the T30 as a tier 10.......Does this mean it will go back to it's original tier 10 heavy status sometime in the future?
