Worth the money.
If new guys buy this its a suicidal move,  as your in tier ten mostly.
And if you gave not paid High tier dues scouting or recon.
You're dead meat.
This tank to get best use needs no mistakes and smart play.
Unlike the tier five lights that cost money though,  you can make credits helping to win even if you didn't get original spot or shoot a round off.
Thats costing you 10k at least in a Chafee.
Thus you can run around and respot for arty.
end game having gotten 3 tier tend TD bombed and a mause and get 17 k credits ..showing only some t110e TD kill you by shooting you once.
Once I put 100% crew in this thing I am going to really gave some fun.

Some things to note about its MatchMaking:

Battle rank 12 is incredibly rare in the NA server due to the low population of tier 10 drivers. I would consider tanks that go up to 12 to be essentially going up to 11 until server population reaches the hundreds of thousands, or if WG ever decides to unify the servers.

Battle rank 11 is also fairly rare. Not nearly as rare as 12, but I see it seldom enough in my 13 90 to feel that having a tank that sees 11 really isn't all that big of a downside. Usually if I see tier 8 arty, it's because some clan decided to do a tier 8 arty countdown to troll players with 16-arty games.

Battle tier 12 isn't rare on the NA server. If you are in a tank that has a rank of 7-12 you have just as much of a chance of getting a 12 as you do a 7 (16.67% or 1 in 6).  It's a 33% for tier 10 tanks. Each time you click battle you get a random dice roll that determines your battle tier. These battles are obvious to spot with the new MM. They are usually battles with mostly tier 9 and 10 tanks and 4 or more tier 8 arty on each side. When I'm running my tier 10 mediums I'm usually in a tier 12 battle once out of every three games.

I'm saving up exp on my Chaffee in anticipation of the tier 8 light tanks. When they come out, I expect the tier 5 and 6 light tanks to be both profitable and fun, and also out-perform the T62.

I would expect the T5 light tanks to get nerfed like the T9 meds if higher tiers are added, with better MM to make up for it.

OP, about the lack of horsepower, have you tried using a Removed Speed Governor?

Turn it on when you need an acceleration boost and turn it off when you don't need.
I use it on my 59 and several russian tanks.

I was running quality oil for a while, switched to removed speed governor. it DOES help, but I feel it doesn't help enough, nor do I always remember to use it. I really think this tank needs an extra 100 horsepower. As it stands, it cannot be played like a chaffee. this tank requires you to do more sniping from bushes, much like the M18. I have, however, had quite a few good games in it so far.

I like this tank!
Would it be better with more engine power?  Of course.
Would it be better with a better RoF? Of course.
But then again being better would make it OP and then they would have to consider nerfing a premium tank.
Mine is doing just fine as it is, it doesn't seem to be OP but it doesn't seem to be UP either.
I've had a couple of games with over 50k earned and I've already got my 'Ace Tanker' badge so I'm pretty happy with it.

My best game was 67K without premium. I'm usually in the 25K to 40K range for a non-premium win and 15K-25K for a loss.

I love the 62.  100% win rate in 6 battles.  and I don't even have a 100% crew or equipment yet.

I like to follow a big tank that's engaging a lone enemy.  soon as the enemy engages the heavy back, I walk in and kidney punch him. :Smile_Default:

BlitzWartior, income is a reflection of the damage you do. A light tank will never make as much as, let's say T34 with its large damage output. The Type-62 stats were available for you to see before you bought it. Perhaps you should have done your research and bought a tier 8 premium heavy.

There are other ways to earn credits.  Including spotting other tanks, which is what scouts are good at.

If you provide spotting while allies do dmg, you get a share of dmg and xp. Works for any tank, if you are armored heavy pinned behind wall and arty hits the tank you're lighting around corner, you share the reward.

actually incorrect.  and if you are only getting 13k per match you are using this tank ALL wrong.  I usually get around 25-30k on a good match, without premium.

can't pull at least 20k, then you need to take a look at your playstyle.
