I have played it several times now and I find it WAY to constraining.

Nearly 1/3 of the map is lost to water.
Another 1/3 is fairly open and has very few places to escape visual spotting and almost no place to escape Artillery.
The remaining 1/3 is 2 camping zones separated by mostly destructible buildings.

It seems like the best strategy on this map would be for all of the non-artillery tanks to mass pack forward and get it over quickly. Even if you are on the winning side of this type of attack, it isn't fun for very long.

I really don't like it.

It's supposed to be a map of Canada. Being Canadian, I feel very at home on that map... all three times I've been on it so far... Seriously, Prokhorovka Assault gets a little old after a bit...

I agree.  Serene Coast is very poorly designed.  The whole middle is a killing alley for either side.  There is very little cover from artillery, which can hit almost any spot on the map from just about any position.  It promotes camping because people find cover and don't want to move.  Most of the time the only movement is to peek out and light up the enemy for artillery.

You feel at home on it?
Is this a comfy motel or a video game?

i would provide feedback, but i only played on it 2 times. in each of those times, the opposite sides won, one with me being in a medium, the other one being in a tiger P.

My point is in saying that, is that I have no problem relating to the terrain features, and tactics on that map isn't such a problem for me. What I do is what most players rage about, but if everyone did what I do, matches would go on for longer(protip: SNIPE on that map. SNIPE.).

You cant like every map - alternate designs not based on tank warfare make sense to me

I personally like the map, however I would really enjoy them putting more maps in the rotation.Variety is what keeps the game fresh, even if they don't have time to create new maps, I would enjoy some of the old maps coming back.

If you have a rotation of 20 maps even if you got a map you hated you wouldn't see it very often.

Is that a crazy notion?

Up to I think 5 battle now on it with only 1 loss.  3 from Southern side 2 from Northern.  Each win and loss same thing.  Winning team supported other teammates, Losing team just all did there own thing.

It is an interesting map but with all the hils on western side very easy for TD's to get a commanding view and jsut rip the enemy up.  Think it needs a touch more cover and I sure would not want to do with high tier tanks but low to mid tier should be decent.

If most players did what you do and snipe...
So how do we get MM to load only sniper tanks onto that map?
If we all sit and snipe then who will we shoot? Everyone will be waiting... waiting... waiting...

Me thinks that some folks don't try to look past their nose before they describe the world.
