Just curious, does the suspension need to be researched and mounted prior to mounting the 105 gun on the T29.  Couldn't really find anything with the search option.

If I remember correctly....you don't need the suspension for the gun...but i has been awhile since I've used the T29 so not 100% sure

Early Research

• As stock it can equip the radio and the 90mm Gun of the M6 if they have been previously researched
  
• If not, Research the 90mm Gun first
  
• Then research the Suspension
  
• Then research the 105mm Gun
  
• Research the Second turret, as it gives more visibility
  
• Research the engines
  
• Finally, research the radio

Yes what tooth said, if you look up the wiki sometimes it will tell you what to research first

Stock weight is 63 tons.
Stock suspension allows 63.5 tons (0.5 tons more than stock weight).
Stock gun is 1,590 kg; 105mm gun is 2,400 kg. 105mm gun is 810 kg (or 0.81t) heavier than stock gun.
You cannot equip the top gun with stock suspension: weight would be 63.81 tons, 0.31 tons greater than the limit.
This is not a difficult calculation. Now you know; use it in the future.
