Been playing them mostly since the patch,

- Matchmaking is the best I remember it (wasn't here the first few months after release). Most games are tier 6 only, or tier 6 with a couple t7s per side, tier 8 games now maybe 1/3 or 1/4 of your matches.

- Large variety of historically relevant (i.e REAL) and fun tanks.

- Great credit generation for the non premium types

- Get a break from the mega-arty-of-death matches

My own T6 stable is now at the KV-1S, Su-100, M4A3E2, M4A3E8, M18, ARL-44 just added the VK3601 and plan on getting the T-34-85 and probably the M6 (best one of all). Hell, even the Jagdpanzer IV is now relevant.  It really is a good time , and the tanks are cheap to equip.

The other tiers are fun too...
T5 and T4 (meds) arent that bad in the MM.

Could well be, the only t5s I have at the moment are the T14 and Churchill, also a blast atm

Pz4 (Tier 5) is now less painful to play in with the absence of T8 matches.

I havent played the Pz4 in some time, but that thing pens everything in the +2 tier range.  It should be a lot better without T8s.

Also, the T28 is supposed to be fun, even without the 85mm.

I recently bought back my T1 HT and i'm having a blast with it. Most of my matches at t5-t6 so i can do rather well with it (of course, T7 matches are tougher as my gun is lacking against them). Strange how fun the "battle fridge" can be .

Its actually +4 tier range.

PzIV uses same 75mm as on VK3xxx series, including VK 3002 DB - tier 7, 88mm available on VK's is not an upgrade in terms of penetration.
So you have same penetration on tier 5 as other vehicles on tier 6 and 7. And somehow those vehicles manage to hurt even tier 9 heavy tanks.

Yeah, the matchmaker changes were long in coming and is one of the best changes to happen, ever.

Played a few games in my KV-1S and was shocked to get consistent tier 6 matches, and not being dragged into Tier 9 and Tier 10 games every single match like before.

I've noticed my SU-152 is getting top tier a lot lately. It's made the grind fairly easy.

I've had boatloads of fun since the patch with all of my low tiers.  I have so many Tier 5s and 6s I have no trouble at all having a string of good matches, all daily doubles.  I had a string of bad luck in my M36 but that's the only hiccup I have had so far.  The VK3601, M18, M4A3E2, M4A3E8 and heck, even the Jagdpanzer IV have all been fun to play lately.

Of the T6's I drive (E8, 3601, KV-1S-I have others but don't use them much), the KV-1S clearly gets the best matchmaking.
