Damn Those Tank Monkeys

The Battle for the Port had gone badly right from the start. Our deployment was a shammbles and the Enemy knew we were coming. What was left of my Panzer group were regrouping near a short Road Bridge that ran over the section of Railyards we were supposed to occupy, after killing off the 1st Enemy wave. We didn't have much time for we knew Enemy reinforcments were on their way.
As I was manuvering Martha .... I named my Jagdtiger Martha.
As I was manuvering Martha to a position to cover the JagdPz E-100, one of those damn French AMX 13-90's errupted through a high brick wall. It was like he knew exactly where we were. He had cleverly approached from cover and now attacked JgdE-100 from the side, between it and a building. Of course I was on the opposite side from the AMX.
Curse those damn French Tanks, so quick.
Some fast action was needed and I directed Martha to swing around behind the reversing JgdE-100 with the intent to Ram/Kill the AMX that was trying to foul his tracks and allowing the JgdE-100 to reverse to safety.
It was at this moment that the decision to have a cage of Monkeys in the Tank "Because They're Fun", turned out to be the wrong one. The cage, that had been bounced about in the previous engagment, now sprung open, releasing the "Fun" Monkeys.
I can'y begin to describe what ensued inside poor doomed Martha at that moment. Except to tell you how it ended. Due to a multitude of quirks and twists of the Twines of Fate, Martha found herself wedged between the building and the offending AMX, who was still subsequently pinning the JgdE-100. The AMX rotated his turret towards Martha and we knew the end was close, so we bailed out of the hatches like .. Well, like men escaping an exploding vehicle. Just making it to cover as Martha gave her last roar.
I do not know what became of those Monkeys, so be warned and keep a watchful eye open for them. They liked it inside the Tank and were very very quiet. But as soon as the Battle began they just went crazy. So check that you either: dont have any in your Tank before you go off to Battle; or that their cage is securely locked.
Good Luck, Good Tanking and Look out for those Tank Monkeys.

Interesting read. I suggest not going for a ram, but rather skirting around and shooting the AMX that way. I do not know if that was possible, being as I wasn't there... But that's generally the most effective tactic.
Cheers.
Cheers.
