Wargaming America is looking for a passionate eSports community advocate to join the team!  This is a great opportunity to work in one of the most rapidly growing subsets of the gaming industry in one of the fastest growing video game companies in the world.  You will be traveling to meet with our community, running eSports events and acting as the first point of contact in troubleshooting community questions and concerns.  You’ll also be working with many of the departments within the company to achieve your goals, participating in partner negotiations and authoring content including blogs, videos and other media formats.  This job will evolve and expand over time as the company grows.  In order to do all of this you’ll need to have these skills under your belt:

• A thorough understanding of online gaming, eSports and the video game industry in general
  
• You adore the eSports community and they adore you
  
• You work well with your team but you can also get what needs to be done on your own, within deadline and in a fast-paced environment
  
• You should have an excellent understanding of basic office tools
  
• You must be a great all-around communicator (i.e. verbal, written, body language) and a second language is a plus!
  
• Ability to figure out an answer in the midst of chaos (i.e. troubleshooting)
  
• A thirst for travel

And we won’t dock you if you have:

• A BA degree or higher
  
• Experience in the gaming industry or with World of Tanks
  
• An understanding of the competitive gaming scene as relates to World of Tanks
  
• Experience with live events & online streaming
  
• Experience working with task management software (such as Jira or basecamp)

This position reports to the Manager of E-Sports and is located in Emeryville, CA.
