I just got the 105mm for my T-29 and what a difference!  This beasty will be a keeper thats for sure.

The 122s on the tier 7 Soviets aren't more accurate than the T5E1, anyone saying they are is engaging in some form of confirmation bias because they're torqued about the 105mm.  The T5E1 is 0.42 on the T29, 0.41 on the T32, with a far faster aim time, compared to the 0.46 on the tier 7 Soviet 122s.  


Running the 90mm on the T32... yeah, that might explain the 45% there...

Has if ever occured to you that the T29 and the T5E1 might just not be your thing?

The T29 is not a sniper. The Tiger H is a sniper. The Panther with the 75L100 is a sniper. The T29 is a combination of a mid-range support tank (mostly tier 9 matches) and terrain assisted assault gun. The T5E1 is fine at any range under 300m, and even at longer ranges I find the accuracy holds up fairly well. I take risky or low % shots fairly often (500m+, pieces of tanks, etc.) when there is nothing else to shoot at, but my 2050 DPG in the t29 shows that the gun can get it done.

Tier 9 match... Im still a little curious how I managed to hit that Jag toward the end... I basically pointed and fired without even having a "red outline" and when I was moving nearly full speed pointing and firing at the ST-I and hitting it. The 105 is very fickle... some games its spot on, other games it would have a problem hitting water if it fell of a boat... anyway, here is replay:
