Plane on Murovanka

Tsupernami's Photo Tsupernami Aug 17 2012

Now I will admit, it is my fault that I keep hitting it with my 2801, thus causing me to stop and be ruined in seconds. However why can it not be run down? All the planes on Airfield can? If there is a legitimate reason, like to stop people like me running around and scouting the forest, however can you replace it with a rock or something similar? A plane should not be able to withstand a full speed 2801.

I think its because the plane that crashede down is a Stuka and is heavier than the VK2801 the Planes in airfield are Fighters which are lighter than tanks and bombers but they do have agility.

So Murovanka planes = Heavier than tank

Airfiel PLanes: Lighter than tanks

These planes are part of the map that is indestructable. They are just eye candy like the knocked out tank at campanova and cannot be moved.

I hit that plane in my T-50 the other day and came to a full stop.  I don't remember ever seeing it before then.

Ah so it wasn't just me who thinks it's new.

Anyway my point is, a plane should be destructable, so why have they not replaced it with a rock?

I understand your point of a rock's damage immunity vs. an aircraft's when confronted with several tons of AFV at speed but isn't there a more simple solution here?  You know where the plane is every time the map loads.  It's not going to move.  Drive around it.

We know this. That wasn't the point. I admitted it was my own folly to have hit the darn thing. However it was merely a suggestion to make the map more realistic. If you want an indestructible object in that field, a rock or thick wall/house, or windmill would see more appropriate.

Maybe the plane crashed on a rock.  :Smile-hiding:
