I have a couple of tanks that seem to be vulnerable to tracking because they are prominent targets; such as on the ARL 44.  How effective is the 30% boost in hit points at actually stopping tracking from happening?  With them being so exposed, I often find myself tracked out in the open where arty can finish me off in no time.

If I only dedicate one slot to this, would there be something else that is more worthwhile; such as a toolbox?

I think the tool box would probably be more effective for a heavy tank if you're finding it happening too often...and on the arl 44 those tracks are nice shields.

On fast scouts it really helps. It not only makes them traverse faster it does make them harder to track.

Use the toolbox instead because once the tracks are damage they are less durable anyway i believe. Either way the suspension equipments are useless for anything other stock grinds.

Swapped out the rammer I had on my T-50-2 for some reason for the upgraded suspension equipment. Getting tracked in a T-50-2 is a no no, especially in clan wars. However, I do not feel it is a worthwhile upgrade on most other tanks, with the exception of using it temporarily so you can mount some upgrades before you get the upgraded tracks, which is possible on some tanks.

I used toolbox on my KV 3 it took lot of hits so need the help. I use more rams and vents and optics then any other equipment.

Mount a toolbox, train your crew for repairs, maybe add in a large repair kit for good measure, then laugh at enemies trying to track you.

My E-75 has that exact setup and if you track me, you have no more than 4 seconds to make the most of it.  After that my tracks are back up and I'm on the move again - no consumables expended, no credits spent.

ls that also the way you feel when your E75 is struck, and bursts into fire? And then you are done, because you have no fire extinguisher and fire scorches the whole inside of your tank? l assume you run First aid, Wrench kit, and Large repair kit (for the added repair speed bonus) Not worth it, because E75 likes to burn.

0nly vehicle l see that can use the Large repair kit passively, is T95. T95 is not under threat of fires too much, unless cornered and trapped, and hit in the ass. At that time its dead anyway. But sacrificing the ability to heal men, repair modules, and stop fires is way too much - unless you are really really hardcore and your layout is auto fire ext, large first aid kit, and large repair kit.....All the power to you then

I use it on my t50-2 because once you get tracked you are dead within 2 seconds. It does help a bit for that but would not waste an equipment slot on that with anything but a scout.
