Elite Experience and the Patton

Recently I had been playing the Patton to grind to the M48A1. I found out by accident that my Patton was still considered elite despite not having researched the M48A1 and converted that experience to general experience. The game is incorrectly flagging the tank as Elite and the experience should not be able to be converted. I have attached a screen shot of a few matches after I realized the bug.

when you elite patton on 7.4 it still elite even when they put a M48 on it

It's always been like that, it's not a bug. My Pz38NA is still elite despite me not having used it since before the switch and I still don't have the PZ4 unlocked.

Already Elited tanks don't become un-elited after something new is added to their tech tree. It's not a bug.

The "elte" icon is displayed for an elite vehicle.
So you "didn't notice" the icon, or the box to Accelerate Crew Training ?
You missing something is not a bug.
