It is common in other games, that when they re-balance the classes, races, whatever?  They allow the player base to remake their decision on whether to keep or leave that entity.

I believe WG should give us that option as well.  Sell all your German tanks.  Push respec button and poof your German tech tree progress is gone, and you now have 500,000 or whatever free experience to spend.

I mean with the upcoming destruction of the PzIV, the only tanks I will want to play anymore are the Panther, the VK3601H and the Tiger (P) ( I have not played it, but I think I could make good use of it.).   Their TD's are good, but I have kind of lost interest in TD's.  Anyway, I would gladly give up the above three tanks so that I could get back the ~350k experience that I have wasted on them.

I have also lost all interest in tier 8 and above, (except for my IS-6, which never has to see those new OP'd tier 10's and is top tier 80% of the time).  To be honest.. the way things are going, I nearly want to cancel my premium account, buy 4-5 premium tanks, and just enjoy the preferential MM, and play teh game for free from now to the end of time, and stop spending appx $100.00/month on this game as I have been doing.

Anyway, I am ranting again.  Maybe I am only mad because I am working on all 4 nations at the same time, and I see now that the German tank lines have nothing to offer.  If you have US, French and Russian tanks in your garage, you are never going to be missing any of your german tanks, and that is a fact.  The only exception, might be the TIger P, but it is hardly worth grinding a line to tier 7 for one tank.

I believe with the way things have gone for the German line, WG should offer us the option to take that time/Experience and go in a different direction if we so chose.

What do the rest of you think?  There are plenty of you who are more vested in the german line then me.

I can tell you that there is nothing wrong with the E75.  It is a beast of a tank.

No, because if you think that line is that bad, then it's on you for wasting your time and XP on that line. Each Nationality plays differently, learn to play the German Line and you will realize how silly your poll is...

No, if nothing else the VK3601H and the E-75, both are very good, if not the best tanks in their tier.

Like almost every other online MMO this game too will eventually allow re-spec's the case for a German line re-spec is very solid but its not fair to limit it to just German's.

most newer mmo's have a reset skills ability of some sort.

As a player that has gotten all the way to the King Tiger, Panther II, VK 4502A, Ferdinand, VK 2801 and Hummel, no.  Just... no.

Dear OP, nice idea, would like to get all the xp back, but forget it, they need the german line as the punish and nerf line...so nice idea, but they will not

And I have 250 games with a 59% winning percentage in the PzIV.  I think I know how to use the tank.  But now they are nerfing it, or at the very least changing it's playstyle into something I may not care for.

Should I not have the ability to decide to put that xp into a M4, or an T-34, if those are now the tanks I prefer.  And you also evaluate these things as a line.  How many good tanks will I get in each line.  If the american line has 4 good tanks, and the german line has 3, and I decide to go German anyway, but then they nerf 2 of the German tanks, leaving you with 1, is that your fault?  Is it fair that you now go down that whole line for 1 good tank?

Does it not make you want to take all experience out of that line and reapply it to the american line with 4 good tanks?

Learn to play is a weak answer.  The global server statistics confirm that German tanks underperform as a group.  What evidence can you produce to dispute this?

No. Perhaps giving the option may be wise, but resetting it for everyone... I still love my E-75, even if it is a big target.

Even if the high tiers aren't great, there were still plenty of gems in the line. Just because one person doesn't like the line does not mean the whole line is completely worthless.
