Hello,

I'm from Europe (Romania) and i was starting my WOT account in NA server, by mystake.
I noticed that situation 5-6 months after i started to play.

I get about 150-170 ms latency for NA server. I'm sure there is lower latency if i play on European server.
i'm interested to relocate my account to the European server.

What do i have to do to move the account?

Have to open a support ticket and hope they'll accept your request to transfer

Simply put, you can't. You could always try by submitting a ticket to support and explaining the situation but the process of transferring your account across servers is a laborious one and requires great amounts of work.

i'm from the UK and stayed on the US server during the server split to play with mates those mates have all but disappeared or got caught in real life stuff i wanted to switch over to EU server as well and have tried asking support already but they say it's not possiblle - However i was quite lucky and managed to get my EU beta account reactivated through a support request but i hate to say it, your best bet is just to start a new account on the eu server.

I thought they still do it, only the gold cant transfer.

They might open up another round of server transfers, but they are still assessing the state of the "disaster" that was the NA --> SEA Server Transfer.

The only instance where WG took account transfers was when they opened up the SEA server and gave NA players the option to transfer accounts there. Maybe in the future they will allow open account transfers to other servers, but right now it's virtually impossible.

Though I wish there will someday be account transfers from NA to the Chinese one.

THEY TRANSFERED NA USERS TO SEA SERVER? WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME? IM LIKE FROM THE COUNTRY WHOSE FLAG IS ON THE SEA WIKI.

As mentioned best bet is to start a new account on the EU server.

But I remember back in (7.0 I think...) they implemented the "cluster" technology and one of the things they wanted to include was the ability to play across servers (like the global map merge).  I remember reading that for instance... an RU account can join the NA server and would have _RU at the end of their name (similar to the test server).
I'm not sure what happened to this functionality, it seems to have fell off the list of upcoming changes.

Am I crazy, or do other people remember this too?

To all those claiming account transfer isnt possible or something like that - BS. They even transfered a whole RU-Clan to EU-Server and have also transfered single accounts in the past. Lazy excuses from support - nothing else in my opinion!

they mentioned being able to play on different servers at will at one point, its in the limbo of wargaming possibilities.

and they did when the beta server split, with the SEA server, etc. its obviously possible, but they dont seem to want transfers to be a regular possibility.

yeh i remember that, wouldn't get my hopes up though :( could be years away for general server pub matches going cross server at wg's speed (no offense WG) Clan wars matches are probably a bit closer to doing this though i remember them saying a while back in one of the Q&A's that they were going to implement it for clan wars and the global map and i do remember a cross cluster test server they ran a while back basically had 2 test servers numbers 1 and 2 and you could choose which one to join and your progress was synced between both servers which was quite cool.

the same happened to me , after 4k battles i decided to switch to the EU server but couldn't throw all the progress behind, so i went back to the US sever with the hope that i would be able to transfer my account to the EU server one day.

I just saw that WOT prepares a sesion of acount trasfer from EU, US and RU server to SEA.

I would like to try to post a request for transfer my account from NA to EU server!.

What option can i use to do that? (from game or from site). I would apreciate a link, etc

yeah... i have the same issue
I want to transfer from NA to EU. but i 28 tanks. most of them are teir VII VIII and IX now, including 13 prem tanks and a prem account which i dont want to lose.
but i gotta say am sick of this lag on NA server.
i wish someone would post how to submit a support ticket plz.

I know the feeling bro. I am romanian too, god damn shit i made my account on NA now i got t8 and 3000 battles and i am not gunna start from scratch...
