Hello I am about a month new to this game have about 3k battles, so I decided that i was going to get $100 worth of gold (24,000) soon. I was going to use about half to buy prems and the other half to buy 26 garage slots and some free exp. Please give your honest opinions. And Tank You <3

If you're looking for some really good money maker tanks, any of the tier 8 premiums will do the job nicely. The Lowe stands out in particular from the group but so does the T34. If you thought the KV-5 made a lot of money, then the Lowe will surprise you.

If you want premium tanks just for fun, the T2 light tank can really make your time enjoyable. But so does a lot of other premium tanks.

Lowe or T34 for credit making.  I would hold of on buying slots, just get the slots that you absolutely need right now because garage slots always go on sale.

1. Unless you are in a hurry to spend it the slots go on sale for half price periodically.
2. I would suggest a tier 5 premium first they all seem to be pretty good and have several playstyles.
3. you might want to save a couple hundred gold for demounting equipment at times.
4. If you are going to get a lot of slots expand your barracks once also it helps.

That's all the premium tanks in game.  Honestly, speaking as somone who owns just about all of them (almost) get one that matches your play style.  Tanks are only so good,  what makes them great is the player behind them.

Read up on them,  see which one suits you best.

Pritty much agree. For me the Lowe might be the best credit machine at least for gross.

For Net proffit the Type 59 is also very good as ammo and repairs are so cheap.

The Super Pershing is just plain fun also good earner.

The T34 might be the most powerfull of the bunch and you can engage tier 10's better than a Lowe can. Epic gun for tier.

Also do not discount the crew training ability of premium tanks. So if you are going German heavies get a Lowe if US get a T34

I can not comment on the Russian premiums as I do not own them. I can say I have not been impressed in fighting them.

Personally, I would get a KV-5, but I guess they had to remove something they found out to be a wrecking ball from the store. :Smile_blinky: For a newbie such as yourself, I would reccomend a T5 prem for some awesome cred farming for <10k gold. Get a church or T14, personally I prefer a T14, for it's mobility with a little better gun.

Lowe and Type 59 are great money makers (whenever the Type 59 is for sale from time to time). The KV-5 is also a nice consistent money maker. It's not as big an earner as the Lowe, but it also gets better MM. The Super Pershing earns decent credits and costs a lot less gold to buy than any of the other three. The Churchill is very cheap to buy and always makes credits, but at a much lesser rate.

Another thing to consider is which tech tree will you be working in? You can transfer regular tank crews to a premium tank to increase their training without having to retrain them or suffer a penalty. They just have to be from the same country and the same class of tank. For example, you can train a Tiger crew (German heavy tank) in the Lowe (also a German heavy tank).

I also agree with AlienInvader on the garage slots, hold off until they are on sale for half price.

I had the KV-5 but sold it cause I wanted to get like 3 tier 6's and also I hated the fact that the KV-5 had a weak spot on the front. I am in no hurry to spend gold because I am getting it in a month or two. I just wanted to post this ahead of time to see if I could get some good opinions. I am working on several trees thats why i don't have tier 8-10 yet. I have the AMX 12t KV-1S IS VK3601H E8 T-50 Grille Churchill M10 T-150 (Currently having serious money problems and my Church cant do much. My KV-1S and IS blow money very fast so I have been using the VK3601H.

Also I was going to mention that I have been looking into the SuperPershing and I like it. I heard the Lowe was really good for credit farming from many people, but I didn't think that the T34 was that good at it. :)

The Churchill makes excellent credits and the crew trains fast.  Train the crew in the Churchill then after they get skills transfer them to another tank. The repair costs is low and fun to play.

Like others have said the tank and barrack slots frequently go on sale.  I'd buy only what you need at the moment.  If  you buy all the slots now you may have trouble getting enough credits to buy the tanks to fill the slots.  You'll also have little time to play all those stock tanks.  If tbe Type 59 is ever up for sale again I'd recommend that.  It earns good credits and is very fun to play.

I am not buying the slots as soon as I get the gold because I know it goes on sale alot. As for the Type 59 I think I would perfer the Super Pershing. T34 looks cool too. Any thoughts on the IS-6?

I love my T34. I can beat the crap out of a Maus/E100 with it. Average of 300-450 in damage. As long as they do not shoot me. In fact I have been playing that more than the Type 59.

I also think the Ram II is very unappreciated in the game. Throw a rammer and gun laying drive on it, and people will complain you are hacking when you kill them. I can make 30000 a game.

The Churchill is fun also.

To me I don't know why but the IS-6 looks like a big money loser.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tier 8 Heavy premiums, but the one I would choose would entirely depend on which Heavy tank line I chose to pursue. For instance, if you want to go down the Russian heavy line, you can train a Russian heavy crew not just on it's own non-premium tank, but also on the Russian IS-6 premium, without having to pay to retrain the crew.  This can (1) train your crews fasters, and (2) make some bank while you're doing it.... P.S. If you go that route, choose "no crew" when you buy the premium.  It will save you some money.  With the IS-6 for instance, it doesn't have a loader, but the T34 and the Loew do, so that may be a consideration if training a heavy crew in the Premium is something you want to do.

You should also know that with a tier 8 heavy, you'll often get matched up with tier 9 and tier 10 heavies, and those matches can be "not fun" as you can get killed real real fast, or have to play so conservatively that the match just isn't that fun.

I personally would recommend going with three lower budgeted tanks just to have some variety.  They won't be the HUGE credit makers like the heavies (although the first one can make some good $ at times), but they are fun to play and good for learning the various styles of play.

(1) The $7200 Super Pershing is awesome and it's armor makes you competitive in high tier matches.  It's classified a medium, but it's plays like a heavy.  You will frustrate the hell out of players taking shot after shot in that little beast.

(2) The $1,750 Ram-II, It has very good armor for it's tier, okay speed, very good hull and turret traverse, and especially when you put a rammer and a GLD on it, the gun, although not a hammer, is VERY quick firing.  It's not going to draw real high tier tanks in its matches, so it's a good tank to learn on, as you're not going to be one-shot by some tier 10 beast five seconds into the game.

(3) The $900 M22 Locust.  Just a real fun tank.  Fast as hell.  IMO, it is by far the best premium light tank.  It's an awesome scout tank, and when you've got a skilled crew with a cammo net, you can really be an effective scout in much higher tier matches.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Wow that really helped me alot thanks Texpantego the only thing is I am not sure about the Ram ll and the M22 I never knew that if you buy a prem without crew that its cheaper. I mean its probably not that much of a difference but, its something. :Smile_Default:

If you plan to buy a Premium that you want to train your regular crews with, definitely don't buy a crew for the Premium. Just swap your reg crew into it when you want to run it, and then put them back into their normal tank when you want to run that one.

One thing nobody mentioned, but if you don't already have a Premium Account, then that is the first thing I'd buy, before you buy a Premium tank. Getting +50% XP and +50% credits on every tank you play is the best possible way to spend your Gold.

For me, the Lowe makes the most money reliably (because it is extremely accurate and can snipe from long range), but the Churchill is the most fun to play. The Chinese tank (Type 59) also makes good money, but it is strictly for cash or fun - you have no other Chinese crews to train, so you have to buy a crew for it.

I do not play everyday so I do not want to buy premium, however I haven't really done the thing with the crews before which sucks cause i have had like 10 people from French, Russian, and American Tanks that have been at 100% but I sold the crew with the tanks. :Smile_confused:
