Hello everybody. I would like to recount a game i just played in my M7 Priest. It was the fishermans port or something like that.

The teams were Tier 3 to Tier 5 with 3 arty pieces and the opposing side heavy on tank destroyers. My team on the south of the map.

The game started off like all those matches do, both teams rushing into each other and 7 tanks are destroyed in the first 2 minutes.
Afterwards it slows down a little with mostly arty doing the work.

Around this time we are left with 5 tanks, 3 arties, an M3 stuart with no radio off on the top right corner of the map. And a stug on the left by our base.
They had 1 arty left and 5 tank destroyers including 2 stugs.

And so we waited. We waited for 1 minute. Then 2, then we lost our M3 stuart without him spotting anything for us arties.

So now im sitting in base waiting for this game to be lost. And i wait. And i wait. Theres 6 minutes left in this battle and all the opposing team needs to do is rush us. They dont. First a stug comes in from the town on the right, it goes straight for our bison kills it, but also allowing me and the StpzIII to kill the Stug. Then after another minute a Marder3 comes at us and kills our Stpz, lucky we got him down to 15% armour tho. Our stug asks me to spot so i agree, head straight for their marder and pop it.

Then an enemy stug appears and it also dies. With 2 minutes left and it being 2v2 i rush across the map, the other TD they had shows up and i hit him twice and kill him, but get tracked by their arty. Least i know where it is now, i rush there when my track is fixed and pop him too and we win.

One thing i learned from this battle is how stupid some people are. 3 arties vs 5 TD's? And we win? :D

Some people don't like scratching thier paint. After t5 you will run into lots and lots of those type of players. Scout that refuse to scout Heavies that hide behidn arty etc. It get really bad sometimes depending on the day. Those guys you fought were idiots. They could have just raped your team and have been done with it. But no one wanted to take a hit and that is how most teams lose.

well tier 5 TDs power caming is almost more interesting than tier 6 driving like BT-7's - and rushing to our guns

Just imagine what you can do as the last or one of the last tanks standing on your team in a heavy tank

Yeah, sometimes the key to victory when you are a tougher tank is simply gettting out there and taking some punches, or maybe even dying in the attack, for the good of the team. This is why pubs can be frustrating when a big heavy or TD tells you in a medium to "go and spot" the entrenched enemy so they dont have to lose some of their prodigious hitpoints. Are repairs expensive past tier 6? Yes. Is the victory gained by your damage (or conversely the loss incurred by your selfishness) worth it? Respectively yes and heck no. There is a reason why battles are 15 tanks on a TEAM rather than a gigantic free-for-all, teamwork and sacrifice are required sometimes and the best players are the ones who realize that. Sorry in advance to anyone who thinks I sound preachy.
