The Super Pershing is the cheapest tier 8 premium at the moment so if you want something that's cheap, you could always go with that.

Whatever happened to, "I wouldn't get any of that, I have a type 62!" lol

I do very well in the IS6. It hits hard, has decent speed and armor. Folks like the super pershing too, however the gun is under powered and the tank horribly slow. I own both, but I prefer my IS6. just my opinion.

Good thing that I still have pre nerf version in my garage. Poor you for getting damaged one.
You ARE kidding right? LOL
When a tank gets nerfed --- all tanks (including the ones sitting in our garages bought pre-nerf) get nerfed. I hope you were kidding with that statement...

I ground out the T34 before it went premium (was a nail biter for a while there...lol yeah right) and I really like it. It's an amazing hull down tank for it's tier and has a freaking nuke for a gun! Good credits, and cheaper than a Lowe

Be sure to consider that you can train your crew in the premium tank. So if you are going Russian heavies, IS6. US mediums, get the Super Pershing etc etc. I have a Type 59, Lowe, and Super Pershing and the Lowe makes the most money but I have the most fun in the SP. Dont get a Type, I ammo rack so many of them and myself get ammo racked all the time. Cant use the Chinese crew in anything else too, which I didnt consider when I bought it.

For the money, it's the T34. If you have a disposable income, it's the Loewe.

Also, the T34 is the most fun of them to me. Great gun and turret armor. The rest don't appeal to me as much especially the Lowe because I kill them so easily and I have a Tiger II.

The SuperPershing is going to be your best bet in terms of dollar amount sense it delivers great performance for its value.

SP: Best value for money, but requires a bit of a play style adaption for many it seems (really surprised by the amount of SPs that show me their sides...)
Lowe: Great sniper good credits, but lacking in damage and with all the high pen that is out there these days it's armour is pretty meaningless. Still one of the top earners due high pen and acc gun.
T34: No hull armour what so ever, what points at it will pen it, but good lord no one wants to be on the receiving end of it's cannon. Credit wise it is at least on par with the lowe, but you have to keep that hull secure and watch your reload.
JT8.8: This is a bit of an odd beasty it makes for a great sniper int he early game and a great assault gun later on, so far I have found myself leading the charge quite often with this thing and making it through alive, good credit income to.
IS6: I don't really know yet what to think about this tank, the armour is quite bouncy, but the gun has a temper, I don't think if I where to buy 1 premium tank this would be the one, only reason would be to train Russian crews or you want to collect them all.
If it comes down to it, I would get the T34 just because that gun scares every tank and if driven well it can take a beating by hiding that hull and for me I just do better in it than the other prems.

I own most of them, and a friend of mine has the Jag '88...
T34 - Best pen out of the lot, so it can pen even tier 10s if you aim it even haflway decent. Good gun depression, reasonable accuracy. Poor aim time, speed and armor. Its rate of fire is somewhat low due to its high damage per shot. It actually has the same dpm as the Lowe.
Lowe - Awesome gun. Very accurate, pretty fast firing. Its gun mantle area is almost impenetrable so if you're at range, you can expose just that and take on any tank in the game. Poor speed, and its armor took quite a hit in the sloped-armor rebalancing, making it less bouncy than it used to be. Probably the best tier 8 premium, with the Type 59 being the reason I have to say "probably."
Jag88 - Awesome, and I mean awesome dpm and very good accuracy. Tier 9 armor in a tier 8 TD. Slow, but at long range it's almost unbeatable. At close range you can facehug them and dpm them down before they realize their fatal mistake.
IS6 - one of the most mobile of the tier 8 premiums. Worse gun as far as pen than the Lowe and T34 but not so bad that it really suffers. Pretty bouncy armor if you angle it fairly well. Good all arounder.
Stuper Pershing - Ugh. Too slow for my taste. It's a medium that thinks it's a heavy. Worse gun than the Type 59, as slow as a Lowe. It's basically a slow moving pin-cushion for any real tier 8. I don't like it. I don't have one and I don't plan to get one, however it is pretty much the cheapest tier 8 premy currently.
Type 59 - Once regarded as very overpowered relative to its tier. I've never had a problem killing them. I also don't believe people that say it was "nerfed." It got rebalanced with the sloped armor changes of... was it 7.0 or 7.1? And like a lot of tanks its ability to deflect shots was changed a bit, but it's still a fearsome medium tank and on par with any of the other tier 8 mediums on the field. Same gun as a T-44, somewhat worse mobility but fairly bouncy armor and a good turret that can deflect rounds.
Grab the Type 59 if you can ever find it on sale in the gift shop. Otherwise, they're all different but pretty good tanks to play.

59 is the only true medium of the tier 8 premiums. The rest are either TDs or Heavies or mediums that think they are heavies. The cost of the rounds are also an issue. Type 59 gun is not as good but if you know what you are doing you can pen anything even a Maus. with it and the shell costs are under 300 a shell whereas the T34 costs are three times that. The Lowe is up there as well but not quite as bad.
So if your considering mobility the 59 is the best, armor wise the SP and IS6 has the best but the 59 slope is almost as good. As far as shell cost the 59 and the JT88 are the breadwinners there and thus it shows in the higher average of credit earning. On a good game the T34 and the Lowe are going to rake it in however.
