Chieftain makes it up with his accent.

"Burly lads". That made my toes curl ever so~

He should never say "Whale oil beef hooked" unless he means it.

Umm...

The good news is that I don't forsee any chance of that ever coming up in conversation any time soon.

Great, looking forward to more of these. I hope there is a T1 cunningham in the bay there.

I'm definately going to have to watch! The M26 Pershing is one of my favorite tanks when viewed from a conceptual and "on paper" point of view :Smile_great:

[Also, it seems we have the same last, Mr. Chieftan :Smile_veryhappy: ]

Won't happen. Don't think I haven't considered it, but when I looked inside the Maus, this is what I saw.

Can't make a video with that, even if the Russians let me have a video camera there.

Jeez louise, that looks like something out of 40k.

On topic, I'd love to see part two. You guys did a great job, constant music and bad mic excepted.

Amazing Video Chieftan it seems like when you were closing the engine doors you were thrown. Were they that heavy?

Also when you do the Inside the Recording of the M26 maybe you could show us a 90mm round?

Do you think you will be able to do some of the rarer tanks, like the T28, Or are those off limits.

Great job cheif :) The M26 pershing has been one of my favorites out of any WWII tank to ever be produced.

He was in fact making a reference to the contents of burly.
Im not, however, actually getting his sense of humour - but each to their own.

A suggestion for when your looking around inside the tank - can you label stuff please?
While real tankers would have a good idea whats what inside a tank, everything is the same colour! This makes it hard to get an idea of where you are inside the tank (IE relative to the outside of the tank) and also makes it hard to visualise the different crew positions.
Perhaps you could add a small schematic in the lower right corner of the screen showing what section of the tank your talking about or looking at. So when your sitting in the drivers position explaining how to drive the beast, the schematic gets a highlight showing where the crew member is relative to the tank.

Thanks for the detailed video! :)

I think it is time for the return of Olga to WG news videos.

Also I hope Chieftain gets to some of the weirder interwar designs and maybe one with a gun he can set off for the cameras. lol

The_Chieftain, on Sep 13 2012 - 01:54, said:

Actually, I did just that with one tank, I dragged along an actual crewman to help. By and large, though, most will be to camera. I suspect that I will get better (or more specifically, more comfortable) with practice.

Great video Chieftain!! I just thing the title of the post on the main page could use a little change of phrasing... unless you purposefully meant it to say "Inside the Chieftain's Hatch." Maybe I'm the only one who got strange mental images from that...

nice job cheiftan XD
also on a side note im not 100% sure if this happened or not but apparently during WWII one of the first tiger H's to take out a pershing (im not sure if it did kill one or not) supposedly reversed into rubble and got itself imobilised on a partially destroyed house.

im not sure about the whole Tiger H vs Pershing irl possibilities and who would have won if it happened as i read it from wikipedia

Great video! Can't wait for the second part to come out. If you made one of my favorite tank in the game, the VK3601H, I'd die a happy man.
