Due to changing circumstances and popular demand, we are pleased to inform you that a second round of account transfers will be opening shortly.
The SEA server forums will shortly become the official server for the SEA and Oceania region.
The SEA server will be offering its local SEA and Oceania community many advantages aimed at providing that region a more pleasurable gaming experience.
A large new and initially empty clan-wars map to explore, conquer and dominate.
Tournaments structured around and made specifically for the SEA/Oceania timezone.
Specialized community and support staff who are local to the area who are there to specifically cater for your needs.
Reduced ping and better connectivity.
Maintenance and down times scheduled at the off peak timezone for the region.

In order to further improve the service that Wargaming provides, we have decided to once again open transfers to the South East Asia server cluster. In addition, the Wargaming South East Asia office will begin providing support for our players in Oceania.
As players in this region, you will have dedicated community and support staff, as well as events, contests and tournaments managed on the South East Asia cluster during hours that work best for you. Clan Wars will also be available to players during optimal Oceanic play hours on the South East Asia cluster in the near future, further improving the experience for you. Additionally, you will immediately notice a much-improved latency (ping) to the game server.
The transfer window is currently open, and will close on October 3, 2012. The transfer procedure itself will take place on the date of closure and will take approximately 48 hours to complete. This transfer is free of charge.

How to Transfer
Step 1: SEA Account Creation and Testing
• Create an account (if it has not been created yet) on the SEA cluster with your desired nickname.
• Log into the SEA cluster to see if the experience is desirable for you: note your latency compared to your current cluster, as well as general connection quality.
• If you still feel you would like to transfer, move to the next step.
Step 2: Transferring Your Account
• Leave the clan on your account at the server which you want to transfer from.
• To apply for a transfer, please click here.
• Refrain from purchasing any gold during the transfer period.
Terms & Conditions
• A player must create an account on the SEA cluster.
• Player must leave their current clan on the donor server (RU, EU, US).
• Transfer will only be allowed from the RU, EU, US servers.
• The account on SEA cluster will be completely replaced by the account on the server which you are transferring from.
• There is a possibility of account suspension (up to 1 week) on both servers during the transfer.
• Gold and packages bought from the Gift Shop on the SEA cluster account will be added to the account.

The reason why this transfer, specifically, is a priority..
Is the SEA & Oceania players were recommended to play on the NA server (Since the SEA server didnt exist)
Now the SEA server is online, and moving quickly to clanwars we need to provide the SEA/Oceania players the opportunity to move to the new server put online for them.
A players ability to move from any server to any server is a different topic and issue to this unique case of a new server coming online.

While it is a step forward and it might not be too long (hopefully before the next ice-age) until the usual server swap is possible, and I am happy for those that get to benefit from this, I still fail to understand why it is so hard to apply the same treatment to all servers. Then again the number of things that seem illogical in wargamings deeds is pretty high but it might be my fault. Please enlighten me...and not because it's a priority.

this is hard D:, the SEA server has like 2000 people on and my ping is higher-ish but there is no pressure on the server and therefore no lag

This is going to make so many people that missed out on the first round, very, very happy.
It's great over there btw. The language barrier can be a tad irritating occasionally but overall I don't regret transferring (in the first round).

at the time of this post, the SEA server has 4708 players currently playing, and its not even peak time yet.
Yes that's alot less then the NA server, but its alot more then it was when the first account transfer (around 2000-3000 peak)
Now clan wars is coming to the server on the 10th of next month, its even better.

G'day...Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi...at last the lagg will be gone. I live on East Coast Australia. Sate of QLD. I made a test account and low and behold salvation!!. My ping drop from a tank destroying 325ms >> to a 200ms...YEsssssssssssss....Im saved

I'm in New Zealand so I'll give it a crack and see how she flies.
But when I go to the registration sight I get this message on the webpage, it's kind of off putting. I think you guys need to change this
makes me not want to move servers....

uhm, silly question how do I change what server I log into from the game client? please say I dont have to download the entire game client again. There must be a config file I can edit or something.

Now that it is decided that SEA will be for Oceanics that warning will come down, but it might take a day or so
Announcement only went up a little while ago.You will need to download the SEA client. Can't play on the NA client in SEA.

Its on the todo list. The clanwars and transfer announcement was scheduled to be released first.
This announcement states that the SEA server will be the official server for the Oceania (AUS/NZ) region.
