I have been reading of players scoring big numbers (some claim 100K) with the Lowe but I am lucky to get 30K. I use it primarily as a sniper but sit back as the tank is quite slow. How do these guys score such high numbers with their tanks. Any ideas on how to boost my numbers.

You must be somewhat noobie, how about if you upload a replay of a regular match for us so we can help you to play better.

You currently have nothing higher than tier 5 except Lowe. You should have waited until you have tier 7 heavy to put you in exprience of playing higher tier heavy. You also have only 18 games on Lowe.
I don't critiscize people for not having enough number of matches (unlike some people), but go search around angling and shooting tactics for Tiger/German heavies as well as get at least tier 7 heavy (preferably Tiger) to practice until you're comfortable enough on heavies.
If you don't want to do that, just keep working on Lowe to get more exprience on it.
Some things, you just can't learn without expriencing them.

FIRST... Thanks for contributing to this F2P game.
SECOND.... I have a hunch you are playing it too timidly. Probably too concerned with not screwing up.. Play a little more aggressively than you are now, but use cover smartly. Hit more targets... it will come.
THIRD... Above mentioned replays and such. Watch some Lowe vids on Youtube for some ideas on tactics.. It helps
PS. SECOND and THIRD above should probably be reverse order, but I am to lazy to fix it.... You get the idear

100K is not that common unless you're an amazing player. I'm fairly average ( although my Lowe stats are bad because I bought it before I knew how to use it). 60K - 80K is likely more realistic I think. I've had a few 100k games but they don't happen all that often - for me at least.
30k is low. The Lowe is a bit tricky to use because it's a heavy but has relatively poor front armor and moves like a turtle. Second line support is ideal, but there will be times you'll need to step up to the front line. That's where you need to learn angling and trying to hide that lower glacis.
I'd suggest looking at some replays to get a better feel for the tank.

Go to http://mwreplays.com/ and search for some good Lowe replays. Watch them. Watch them again. Then, watch them again until you can fully appreciate what that player is doing differently than what you're doing. Some of it may be ping, some may be crew training differences, but more than likely, (imo) if you're only pulling 30k per game, you're doing something fundamentally wrong. Also, premium helps.

I got 90,000 something yesterdY non premium
To do this i needed 7 kills and base capture points and 4-5 other enemies damaged + steel wall award
In other words you need a really good match to score big. Ive played over 1000 lowe matches and only had 2 top guns so its not easy compared to other tanks. Got many many sniper awards and that cos i focus on damaging enemies rather than kills cos damage is what earns credit
Focus on damage output and whenever possible get those extra achievements like capture or defender. If you survive the battle youll earn more too
The real credit advantage of the lowe is you cannot possibly lose money even if you have a shocker

I usually brawl with almost any tank. On the EU server I have a Lowe and can get about 70k non premium on good games. I would recommend either brawling using 100 octane and simply going straight for the crucial close range points or supporting from the 2nd line still not too far away from the front line.

WOW! Someone started a thread asking for advice and they are not getting shot down in flames. Am I still in WoT forum? I just got the Lowe as well(love it), and am still learning its strengths and weaknesses. Thanks for the tips.
