Nah, it doesn't specifically annoy me. I'm mostly 'meh' about the whole thing.

Yes, but aren't you mostly 'meh' most of the time anyhow?  o7

It should be free. Especially when you are using high tier guns plus testing weakspots on tanks and then having to grind up 15k credits just for using that amount of shells.

About a great many things that other players consider 'omg game breaking super mega ultra important terrible bad', yes. If the whole game left me 'meh', I wouldn't have played 21k matches in it.

Yeah. One average match in a Lowe pays for that three to four times over. So terrible. It' s an outrage! Warning, sarcasm may be present.

It is realistic. In real life you have to pay for the ammo you use even in training.  It would be nice tho to have the option of using "training" ammo that is cheaper. Not as good as "real" ammo. Of course it would be nice to have a training room where you could just practice shooting at a target tank, hiding from tanks, looking for tanks ie testing all aspects of the tank you are in. "Can I hide behind this rock?" BING NOPE! Type of thing. That would be a big help.

I agree we don't earn any credits so therefore Credit ammo should be free.  It would make use of the training rooms more palatable.

I still think you should incur a charge for using credit or gold Consumables and Gold Ammo.   They are more of an optional thing.

And just maybe if the use of the training rooms were more appealing it would be used more and improve the gameplay in the public battles,  could even incorporate mandatory training rounds for new tankers and newly purchased tanks.  Just a thought!

Lert, I'm disappointed.  You're usually much better at doing your stat homework.  Mantisman630 does not own a Lowe, he owns a Type 59.

It is realistic. In real life you have to pay for the ammo you use even in training.
You also have to pay for consumables, gas, maintenance.  As well, IRL, you use training to improve crew skills.  While I do find it odd they make you pay only for ammunition, I suspect it is because a small minority wouldn't bother with playing in pub matches if they had completely free use for training rooms.  Let's face it, if you would rather face off and test your skills against your friends, with or without 15 on each side, you'd use a training room more than pubs or Company Battles.

So, we have to spend $53 usd on a premium tank to play training rooms for free?

Yeah but when you're paid in real life you don't spend it on ammunition and repairs. That money is courtesy of whatever administration dictates your branch and ultimately the taxes of the indigenous people you fight for. So really, using the logic of reality we shouldn't have to pay for repairs nor ammunition at all! Credits are a function of the game to make it work. From a design standpoint, I see no need to punish players for using the training room.

As realistic as a video arcade tank game? Where you can play for free? There IS NOTHING realistic about this game! :facepalmic:

Free training ammo would make you more competent and 'hook' you into the game deeper, and that would probably cause you to spend 'REAL' money for premium and get you roped into clans sooner. All to WoTs bank account benefit.

Lord knows I've spent oodles on this game and still can't play for crap. If I got good who knows what I'd spend.... other than my wife when she pays my CC bill! :Smile-hiding:

How bout' that?

I hate it when a suggestion thread is attacked by a """meh. Its not the absolute, positively, most important feature ever in the game, and therefore why are you even bothering suggesting it?""''
