-Pz38t penetrating anything that Pravda had with that 37mm is quite impossible. Even if they knew weakspots (which historically the German Pak 36 crews learned of eventually) they were running at top speed.
-Everyone's accuracy was horrendous. I mean, if you have the enemy's position zoned in when you surrounded them, all you need to do is shoot the first tank that comes out of the column and block the rest of them in. Instead, we get Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy-level of incompetence.
-Strategic failure on part of Pravda. Given the awesome firepower of the KV-2, IS-2, and T-34-85, all they needed to do was put the IS-2 in front and surround them with tanks. I mean, it's 6 tanks vs nearly 10. Focus fire would easily win the battle. Also, leaving a clunky beast like the KV-2 to defend something as important as a flag tank is absolutely terrible.
*Sigh*
my pro-Russian bias is coming to bite me in the ass now. I can't even enjoy an anime whenever I see Russians with subpar performance.

Saunders: Shermans open ground with forest: like normandy.
Anzio: Ittlan theamed team: rocky forested terran: like Italy.
Pravda: Russian flavored: snow.
All that's left is black forest german team and the only major european theater of world war two left is the North African Campaign, Where the tiger was deployed.
In my opinion, that Saunders-Normandy doesn't exactly match...I would have expected to see some of those infamous hedgerows if it was a shoutout to Normandy....

It's been discussed elsewhere. The Japanese actually had a pretty good tank doctrine, on the rare occasions they used it, but the industrial side let it down a bit. Of all the priorities that Japanese industry had to deal with, tanks were pretty low down the list, so they never got as much material or support as, say, ships, aircraft, or even mortars, given the general opposition that Japan faced.

Nothing like bringing bad juju down on the hero in their final match to make things extra stressful.
That said they've already done a partial desert match but not during the official championship.
I could see a North Africa themed final but not as likely as another forest or snow battlefield.

Eh you'll get over it. Frankly if it wasn't for the Type 89 i'd say their total line up was a capable all around force that just needs practice and experience. If anything i'd wish for something to replace the Type 89 with...not the Type 3.

Lili Marlen was to the german soldier what Katysha was for the Russian. They used to do song matches, blast each song aginst the other over the trenches.....

Not bad, but in my Opinion Lili Marlen is better.
One song that I realy would have wanted to hear is the most tank related song ever : Три Танкиста (Tri Tankista)

A fact that was actually mentioned in the show just before their first kill. Note that all of the Pz38(t)'s kills have always been to the T34's turret ring, which would be one of the weaker points of the tank. And said shots were made at very close range, or (as with their last kill) from a dead stop.

Nothing unusual as far as this show is concerned. Look at the St. Gloriana battle beforehand. They're at least being consistent about everyone being sucky shots.

Given that the T-34's view was not that great, when combined with the weather (you should have seen the part where you look at the T-34s firing at you), it's actually pretty logical that you're bound to miss unless close.

1) T-34 is knocked out, Type 89 is only tracked, Oarai wins
2) Simultaneous knockout, however, Oarai has only lost 4 tanks while Pravda has lost 8 tanks. Oarai wins on material
