There's only one thing for it...They must elope! And crush anybody who get's in their way with their trusty stead the IS-2 whilst singing Katyusha! Elope and run away they must to seek exile with the House of Oorai. :teethhappy:
Nice prospect, but I doubt an IS-2 existed in the early 19th century, and Nonna probably would not risk having her family take the hit for her eloping
Who knows, maybe Katyusha is betrothed to a prince!  :veryhappy:  (or whatever the Russians called their princes back then)

maybe I should write this just to get rid of the plot bunny after finishing the ch 6 of my other fic.

on the IS-2: maybe the House of Pravda sponsored Iosif Stalin Battalion, 2nd platoon? (did I just mangle the military formations?)   with the second platoon absolutely adoring Katyusha and willing to desert for her :teethhappy:

There's nothing wrong about riding a horse named Iosef Stalin II in the early 19th century, and who knows? Love and friendship can make crazy things happen.

Who knows, maybe Katyusha is betrothed to the cruel sadist lesbian princess Anchovy of Anzio.

Is that Mako's grandmother? The hand and arm look a bit old.

Just to add a bit more depth, Nonna was originally "hired"** (read: blackmailed out of her original commoner family by catching Katyusha's father's eyes) to...erm......er..."serve" him about 5-7 years ago (Nonna is 19 at the moment of imagination). That evening, before Nonna would have been brought to the father's bedchambers to..."serve" his most depraved desires and fetishes (he has the 120 days of Sodom somewhere in his study and indulges in some pleasures at his friends' houses with their servants...but he draws the line at family), the selfish brat who is named Katyusha sees her during the family dinner, and demands her father to make Nonna her personal maid. To which the father begrudgingly agrees to (after a lot of tantrums), saving Nonna from her fate. As a result, Nonna is very loyal to Katyusha, thankful for her unintended deed. Which is why she takes to taking care of her, and yields to Katyusha's every whim.

**: the family and Nonna don't get paid for having her "hired". At all. What they do, or more accurately, don't get are repercussions for disobeying the head of an influential family.

Interesting idea and it makes sense why she would be so loyal to Katyusha. However the thing I can't get past is the fact that Nonna isn't the kind of girl where it's safe to be on her bad side. Nonna just screams russian spy/assasin/bondgirl, in a word... deadly. Basically she's the kind of girl you wouldn't hesitate to make love to, but that you would never F*** with. Still the story holds great potential.

I have no idea what I just walked into but "me gusta". A good Nonna&Katyusha story would be much welcomed.

I just adore Mako and Nonna. Those two... Unggh!!!!

I'd like a Mako and Nonna pair... Mako being all weak from low blood pressure needing the aid fo Nonna. Heh... ~fantsizes~

If she feels too slighted (sp.?) she could always sneak something deadly into the lord's food. But the thing is, she then becomes a murderer, and I doubt she (who is a Russian serf in this context) would be able to resist the Russian military/law enforcement trying to arrest, put on trial, and execute a lord-killer. At least not alone.  :hiding:

edit:.....right?

Nonna's smart, she would find a way to do it without getting caught.

BTW does anyone know off the top of their head how Yukari refers to others? for example, when referring to Saori, does she call her as Saori or Takebe? and what honorifics did she use? Did she even use other people's names?

Nonna and Katyusha are overrated.

I only remember her calling Hana "Isuzu-dono." I don't know much on Saori and Mako.

Looking at the pic now, I get this...weird oneshot fic idea of Nonna being Katyusha's nurse/maid/whateveryoucallthatposition, and Katyusha is about to be sent away to marriage for her House of Pravda in early 19th Century. Katyusha doesn't want to (as she was JUST told about the "birds and the bees" and what the "duty of a wife" is  :hiding: ) and Nonna is trying to calm her with soothing words while grooming her for the ceremony. Oh, and Katyusha did not even get to meet her..betrothed(?) yet. >.>

And then Katy realized her true love.,....the KV-2! I mean, every girl wants a tough, muscular man with a big....."howitzer"

But, it explodes.

It doesn't penetrate at all.

you also need the accuracy to hit and penetrate whatever you're trying to shoot at.

oh, and don't worry, this thread usually has very good flame-suppression systems. Every time a flame appears, the thread injects multiple posts to bury it until the flame dies out from suffocation. :P

Well, Katyusha is a pretty small target, so maybe she needs a German derp gun...those are derps that can hit what they aim at.
