The mod is the Orange Laser line that show the direction the turret is pointing.
It also has a gray line that shows the direction of the tanks' body is facing.

in version 2.3 LT's have been changed to a different color.
Plus, as you can see some icons have been changed.

in version 2.4 added extended zoom option see screens below.

Q: How is this Minimap different from other minimap laser mods
A: 1. Letters and number shown in the minimap border are displayed correctly before and after using zoom in/ zoom out.
2. Enemy and Friendly scouts are marked with different colors.
3. Tier 10 HT's are marked with dimonds as shown on the second screen above.
4. Added extended zoom ontion as shown on the scrrens belows.

Extended Zoom Screenshots

P.S. The idea isn't mine, nor do i know who the original author is. Maybe this guy http://goo.gl/raEwn

P.S.2 Also graet big thanks goes out to Locastan of the EU forum for helping out with the zoom !!!   :Smile_honoring:

What are the differences between the above posted images other than name, they all look the same.

What do the two white broken line concentric circles represent?

Im guessing the circle would be view range,  and the difference in picture s is the brightness of the orange line!

I've seen this mod before. What does it do though? what is the purpose of that orange line?...the view range seems very usefull...though I see two sets of dashed circles, one of them radio range?

View range isn't a circle, it's a square...

You mean draw distance? I know draw distance is a 500x500 box, but spotting/view range is a circle around your tank. As far as I know.
