the superpershing, is probably the best tier 8 premium for what you're paying for. I made around 700K credits without a premium account in about 3 hours when I first bought it so if it's crddits you want the SP is a viable option, but another thing to remember when buying a premium is that it can run the same clas-same nation crews without retraining allowing you to theoretically farm 2 doubles on the same crew.

Its a great fearful tank in the hands of a good player. It gets a bad name sometimes as noobs buy it and camp and ruin its reputation. Someone with 3k battles like you should do extremely well in that tank.

I wish they had a similar premium in the German line so I could transfer a good crew into it.

great tank and money maker. yes its slow so run it like a heavy not a medium and keep your front faced. it also has great gun depression for going hull down. $ for $ its the best T8 premium for now

Wait until after the Golden Joystick Best MMO is announced.  If WoT wins, the SuperP will be 15% off.  Also, go vote for WoT, now.

Two German mediums, a tier 6 and a tier 7, coming out in 0.8.1.  Try them on the test server now so you know if you like one of them.

I have the SP, the Type 59, and the T34.

In a nutshell, a heavy premium VIII tier is going to out-produce a medium in the credit farming department, all other things being equal, over the long term for the simple fact that it can deal more damage per game and that's what prints credits.

My T34 out-produces my SP and type by about 10-20% I would say. A 100k credit game in the T34 is a pretty regular event while in one of the mediums it takes some lucky opportunities to break that threshold. It happens, just not as regularly.

One drawback of the SP is that it is slow, which means that if you get caught on the wrong side of the map from where the action is it's time consuming to reposition so you can contribute. For that reason I tend to stay closer to the middle until I see where the battle flow is going, and then I move accordingly. As a result, it's credit producing capability is less predictable. However, the hellacious armor and fast firing gun (it's not as weak as people say...10 mm less pen than the regular Pershing) means you can wade into the frey and deal a lot of damage in short period of time and survive with barely a scratch. It's a fun trolling tank for that reason...if your adversary does not know how to target your weakspots, they are as good as toast. You can waddle right up into their face and disembowel them at your leisure. If they do know them, just back up...the weak spots are hard to hit at range.

But the real question should be, do you prefer driving mediums vs. heavies, and do you have American medium crews that you want to train? If this is going to be your main credit crunching tank, you want something you enjoy driving game after game after game. The SP is a bit like a hybrid...it's slower than some heavies, but has better frontal armor than many heavies in it's tier, and has a much faster firing gun.

I got mine to train up the crews for my high tier American mediums, and it gets a fair amount of use for that. I enjoy driving it. But I also enjoy the gun and turret on the T34, which in a hull down position is basically a mobile bunker with an artillery piece in it.

Is this with or without a premium account?

My guess is premium, I run premium, bought the Super P a couple of days ago and I average 20-30K on a bad loss to 98K on a good win with Premium. On Sunday, while not playing the entire day(but a good chunk of it) I earned just under 2 mill credits, 1.8 or 1.9 mil.

As mentioned above, if you come across tankers that don't know the weakspots, you are going to have a blast (plodding forward and watching a tier 8 TD and a t34 heavy backing away from you as you methodically poke small holes in them while eating their shots is priceless. Tankers that know the weakspots, and have a decent gun are going to rape you silly.

I dont understand why the devs, for the purpose of the game, dont put the larger pershing engine in this thing.  It moves like a slug and it is a super pershing??  It is more like a minor pershing.  It is a med guys, its not supposed to be passed up by T34's and Tigers..  for gods sake.  Bad enough it has a junk cannon, gotta make it move so slow as well??

I guess more broadly you don't understand the idea of tank balance. It's slow because it has armor that outperforms most tier VIII heavies. The cannon is fine...it's the regular Pershing's with 10mm less pen. No big deal.

This is where I was split, still am a bit.

At first I was like "Super Pershing? Heck yeah! It looks awesome in the videos, and I can never pen it in game!".

Then after I bought it, I was like "Should have gotten the Lowe to train my future Maus crew. Drat...."

After playing the VK 4502 (which has the same armor profile and gun as the Lowe, and I HATE the VK)
I was like "Phew! Dodged a bullet there! Glad I got the SP instead!"

The short version: Pick your premiums based on your target tanks, because they can train your crews.
But also compare tanks you hate to your premium choices. You may end up saving yourself some gold,
and buyers remorse.

I might still end up with the Lowe, but for now my super pershing makes good credits and is loads of fun to
drive.

I enjoy it alot even starting with a hideous win rate.  I have T59, Lowe and SP as for big winner for tier 8 I  seem to go in streaks 1 tank I will rock with other 2 do ok.

Last weekend trying to grind up credits hoping WoT wins Joystick award so i can get a few more Tier 9's.  Was having real good games on T59, previously was doing well on Lowe, previous to that great on SP.

Best about SP though cheap Ammo and tougher then heck, get a buddy to cover you and drive on.  City maps are its best environment to protect its sides.  Enemy gets around ya though you die fast.

I don't feel I got my money's worth so far. With the Lowe it took getting crew skills up before really ealizing it's potential so I hold judgement for now, but so far I am not impressed. If it had a 105mm instead of the 90 then I think it would be worth it, but as of now it really depends on how it's matched up. As with any gold tank don't expect many top guns, but for farming XP and Creds it works just fine.

The SP is definitely worth the money.  I got one when it was first released and have found it to be a great credit grinder.  My Lowe and T34 rarely leave the garage since I got it.  Listen to the other players whe they say look to what T10 tank you want and buy the premium according to that. I mainly use my SP to get credits and train my M48A1 crew.
