Installed both mods. Gun mod is not working though

EDIT: The engine mod seems to be shutting off the sound to everything else

The gun 'crackling' sounds in the background worked for me but I didn't notice any sort of difference when I played my T30. Gun sounded exactly the same. Pretty sure I installed it correctly though.

Umm... Where did you find the new Quadro7F mods? The 8.0 mods aren't on his website.

Did you copy your original res/audio folder to res_mods/0.8.0?

If you don't copy the original files before installing the mod, it won't work.

Hai.

I want to let you know that some guns still use the old "WG" sounds. This is due to WG for some stupid reason decided that only specific vehicles should get their own unique gun sound.

This will be sovled in V1.12(the only gun that will remain unchanged is the E-100's 15cm as the WG sound is awesome enough for it.

Oh, and it's not GnomoFather :P

Just installed it and what a great difference its makes.  The anemic gun sounds I had are gone and the battlefield is rocking now!  Thanks!

By the way, I think you could keep the sound for JpzE-100 too. It is really awesome.

Sounds for Ferdi are amazing. I loved the reload sounds.

Gnomefather can you please confirm that you do have to copy all of the audio files into the 8.0 folder first then copy your files over that, that is the only way to install your mod or could you place your files into the audio folder, thanks for the mod too I have been waiting for a gun mod.

So i copied and pasted all of the audio folder to the 8.0 folder then unpacked the mod contents and overwrote the files but what do i do with the scripts folder do i unpack each separate folder inside scripts or not, any help would be appreciated.

great mod. finally got guns that sound as they should. however, when using this with gnomes engines and the workaround the engine sounds kinda drop out, but there's a kinda deep sounding "hiss". there gonna be a perfect version that these mods will work together?

"scripts" folder goes inside res_mods\0.8.0
It is a separate folder

res_mods\0.8.0\audio
res_mods\0.8.0\scripts

Edit: Just played my VK3002 and.... good job on 7.5L70 sound. It is amazing.
