[Otto_Weston]

"Artillery Group Alpha" is made up of a group of people that want to enjoy the game and have fun, through the usage of advanced Artillery Tactics (trolling methods). We play all tanks in our organised but relaxed activities, such as Tank Companies and Platoons, but emphasise the use of Artillery to bring rage and death to all. Join us if you're interested in playing with people who love crackpot strategies, causing WTF moments and generally causing havoc.  



Our plans:
Tank companies, some played seriously, but others just for fun where we use nothing but arty or tier V lights... experimentation and lolz ftw!  
1. Light Brigade - nothing but Tier V Lights
2. Arty party - nothing but arties
3. Metal Storm - nothing but Vickers Mk.1 Mediums (When they come out)
4. Anything else interesting

Synchronized platooning - bringing guaranteed hilarity when you find yourselves on opposite teams, and naturally gunning for each other

We do not plan to participate in Clan Wars in the near future, but if we get enough people, we may just start.


Requirements:
Tier 3 Artillery or a Tier 5 tank
Age 16+
Under-Pants (Important one)  
Sense of humour
Optimistic outlook on life

It is true, we take great pride in our clan. That is why we are looking for someone that could create a website that will befit us. Also someone who is pretty good at Photoshop or the like would be awesome, I apparently cant draw. I still say Mr Happy is the best piece of art work ever.

I'll do that. I'm prior military but pure civilian now. However, organized sites that use military insignia attract me. I look forward to seeing a decent looking patch on my tank!

I have very good website development skills, and excellent Fireworks skills. (Photoshop isn't very user friendly IMO). If you see my signature in this post, that was generated from a site I personally developed. I hope that gives you a sense of my development abilities.

Mmm, well, we could do with a person like you who's skilled with that kind of thing. If you did decide to join us, we would most likely be asking you to develop a site for us, as that's an important thing for a growing clan.

As you can see from our clan page, we aren't very big atm, but every little helps!

Despite my best attempts our clan logo is primitive  some would even call it crude. We are very proud of the logo and it has come to symbolise what we do and who we are. If you do join us I would ask you to clean it up some what and add some consistency to the design.

Well, I've decided that I'm going to hold off on joining a clan. I spent a night in a ts with a clan I was considering joining and while most of the guys were pretty cool, I didn't like that sense of "you're just a private, stay in this channel while we discuss more important matters kind of thing". I think it's because I'm an older guy who doesn't like seeing a mosquito wing next to my name. (I'm referring to private rank). However, I realize I can't expect to walk into any place and be a General though. So as a result, I formed my own clan not for competitive proposes but just as a place holder for a few friends. I also learned that I need to get some higher teir tanks before I can really even platoon around with some of these guys.

Anyway, I had promised to let you know what I decided and strive to keep my word.

Well, thanks for telling us where you ended up.

I know what you mean about clans that are more elitist, and structured; I've been in a couple myself. Despite it being a good way to run a more competitive clan, that's not what I wanted for my time off. I want to have fun and relax when I'm playing and so AGA itself started as a clan for friends and a place to just unwind.
