Prepare for forum meltdown after the first round of idiots that are incapable of simple reading comprehension complaining about how they got disqualified for bringing in tier 10's on the first match.

For this requirement, does that mean if your team uses German tanks for the first round, that they must use German for the rest of the rounds (Round 2, Round 3, etc)?

It's a bit complex. But we like the elements that Farva1 included.
  • Tanks of the same nationality.
  • Increasing tiers culminating in a Tier X final round.
  • Varying point limitations.
  • Rotating maps.

The only changes we made were to SPG tiers and Light tank tiers allowed per round. We felt this necessary for balance.

We actually want to give teams the ability to change nations even between battles. The text is edited to communicate this.

Your team is free to switch nationalities between battles and rounds.

Hey CaptainJudo,

This is an awesome tournament, very creative!!

The thing is I think its a very complex tournament for just an "skirmish". By its complexity and requisites it should be considerated to be a challenge of the month. As I see this skirmish made by Farva (by the way grats!) is way more challenging for the members of each team and demands much more strategy and tank configuration than a usual skirmish....and if you see the reward...its not so atractive (for players that take tourneys seriously).

In few words, too much brains for poor reward makes the skirmish not worth it.

I hope you take my opinion as a way to improve the quality of tourneys.

Bye.

The point of skirmishes is to allow small teams to have a chance to play in an event that they couldn't play in larger events or clan wars. If this payout/format discourages more skilled / higher experience teams I think that is an improvement.

Let the newer players have fun in skirmishes, in fact I'd like to see skirmishes concentrate on low and mid tiers exclusively.

Yep, but skirmishes are easy going tournaments, thats its main goal, to invite new players. This tournament deserves a better position....its not any skirmish. With this type of complexity you wont atract new players. I think its better to keep it simple for new ppl.
