I searched around the forums but didn't spot anyone posting this news yet so I'll do it here.
while checking WoT news for more info on the 8.1 patch I found they had posted pictures of the 2 new US heavy tanks and possibly a medium.

http://wot-news.com/...php?f=3&t=10771

The info was posted yesterday and I'm surprised no one picked it up yet.
Pictured are
T69 heavy
Spoiler
T 57 heavy
Spoiler
And
T54 E2 (this tank doesn't say if it's a heavy or not)
Spoiler

According to Wiki all used Oscillating Turrets

United States
    T69[3]
T54E1 Tank, Heavy, 105mm Gun – Two prototype vehicles with 105mm guns and autoloaders were constructed on the M48 tank chassis. They were constructed around 1952 by United Shoe Manufacturing.[4] One T54 had a conventional turret, the other T54E1 an oscillating turret.[5]
T57 Tank, Heavy, 120mm Gun – A single prototype was constructed in the 1950s on a T32 heavy tank chassis, with a 120mm gun in an oscillating turret.[6]

T69 used a T42 chassis.
T54 chassis had some differences from M48 chassis IIRC
T57 had nothing to do with the T32, it was on the M103(T43) chassis.

I knew someone would have it. Search has failed me. Most likely because when I look at that post the tags for it are, 8.2, ITdude, and remove_arty_from_game. Search goes for tags first not titles of topics by default.

Edit: Tried more searching, I had put heavy tanks in not just tanks, again more failure. Oh well, more pictures!

American version of the French's AMX 50B? Question is...do the tank you just posted be using an auto loader?!

Yes.

But it was different, they used plates to lift up the shells to the gun, so to speak.

Looks like American tanks had some hot and heavy intimate time with French tanks during the liberation of France...

I thought that I had seen a preview of the T54 on a video some time ago, it was if memory recalls part of the offshoot medium tree branch that was (is?) supposed to be culminating in the T95 tank. Therefore, I don't think that that will be a heavy. The others though.... well that certainly is something.

The T54E2 was the non autoloader type, and we've already seen it as the tier 9 to the T95 MT's tier 10. It appears this will be in the 2nd Medium line while the rest go to the 2nd US heavy line

FMC built a number of armored vehicles for the US, including the amphibious LVT-1, (1941), that venerable battle taxi, the M113 (1960), and the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle (1980).

FMC was the Food Machinery Corporation ...

if you want details on the three tanks posted on this topic check this book written by R.P. Hunnicut
"Firepower: A History Of The American Heavy Tank"
it's about every heavy tank buit and conceptualized by the US army and it also includes specs bot armor, suspension, engine and guns

about the T54 I can confirm that it is an heavy tank
you just need to search "T54 heavy tank" or "T54 Experimental heavy tank" on google (images) and you will find a image of a T54 on the Aberdeen proving grounds with a plate in front of it that says "Heavy Tank T54"
the T54 is also in the book and there you can see the many diferent turrets they tried on that tank, including one turret with autoloader

there's also some interesting things about some of the tanks we already have in the US tech tree like for example how they isntalled a 90mm gun in one of the T1 HT prototypes (they made several to test the best configurations regarding guns, suspension, engine, transmission, etc) and also how they isntalled a 105mm gun on the M6 HT (also included in the game as a premium tank but not available anymore)

there's also a concept of a tank equiped with a 170mm gun

T69 is a light tank. (Tier 7?)
T54E2 is a medium tank (Tier 9)

I have to disagree

you can't call it a medium tank when the army has it classified as an heavy tank
look at this image

this is only one version of this experimental heavy tank
this version has the oscillating turret but the army tried at least 3 diferent turrets on this tank, the turret from the T54E2 is one of the turrets they tried on this tank

Except in this video, it's very clearly listed with a medium tank icon
