Can go 60 on flat ground.
Has a better gun than E8 me feels.
Somewhat better armor.

I'm wrecking god damn lowes in this thing, it's like an E8 on roids with slightly slower ROF because it juiced too much.

Yeah it can.. 100% crew with grouser or w.e (upgraded Christie suspension) is amazing

Just wait until 8.2 and then it'll get curb stomped and nerfed, like the rest of the released tanks.

Upgraded christies (module) only affects the track durability. Waste of a module, man.

Plus, until tier 7, Crommy's the only tank that i can somewhat find enjoyable. Crusader and Cov. felt like hell.

How does it compare to the KV-1S?

Cromwell is, in fact, ridiculously OP.
Spoiler

Note: While most of this was platooned, it was just a 2 man platoon - not a 3 man pubstomp.

Anyway, I'm expecting the top gun to have a lowered damage, or a vehicle specific lowered RoF. Because honestly, Cromwell was just utterly brutal with combination of extremely high speed, really good maneuverability and a 145 pen/140 alpha gun with a 3 second reload.

It's quite amazing I must admit. Me and BoB have been platooning in his Cromwell and mine in my KV-1S/VK3601/KV-2. I saw BoB recklessly take down some tanks easily with RoF and ramming. It's mobility is really good too.

I hope to get it too soon, probably next week or so after I finish with the rest of the X5 and credit grinding for equipments :P

Show me the "somewhat better armour" please, pen wise the Cromwell's gun is better but actual DPM they are identical (I realise if you can't penetrate the target you aren't doing damage). The Cromwell CAN'T mount a vert stab, it is quicker than the E8 and although the gun is more accurate, if I remember correctly from my time in the E8 (without a vert stab) the dispersion on the move is worse in the Cromwell.

Ridiculously OP, no, no I don't think so at all. Dangerous when used correctly, yes, very dangerous indeed.

For the record though, I have had a Steel Wall in my Cromwell. If i'd been in my E8 and played things exactly the same, I still would have had a Steel Wall. Some people don't know how to shoot.

Not sure I'd call anything with that armor OP, but is is a fun fun tank.  When you''re upper tier and banging away at noobs in pubs, yeah, it can rake, but a decent gun can hurt it bad.  I'm guessing the way to beat it is to track it, and or bum rush it.  It's  gun reminds of the top tier 6 AMerican medium gun.   It's got a bit more pen, but about the same damage.  Noobs will sit there and let you hit them all day, but good tankers in Jumbos and 3601s will just rush it and do some damage.

Are you implying suspension aids in on the move accuracy?

Yeah well enjoy it while you can. It reminds me so much of the original Lorraine. Great pickup with awsome top speed and a fast gun. I use this as a anti scout tank with multiple arty. I love suprising t50s by rolling up on them and picking them apart on the move. When they start juking they dont seem to realize with the weight of this tank I can swerve just as fast and not lose speed. When they start drifting its over. A little fender bender is all it takes. Also it can "circle of death".So... I see a reduction in ground traverse by removing an engine, exact same thing they did to the Lorraine. I reduction in turret speed so that the circle of death will only work against the slowest of heavies. A reduction of ROF.  Does any of this sound familiar guys. At least they cant move it up a teir. It will be accelerate slower, bog down more over rough terrain. It will turn at top speed like a truck and bleed speed when it does. Then you will only get one shot playing peek a boom. I usually stay in for two unless its a Sherman. I free experienced up to it and then fully equiped it so the learing curve was a short one for me. I figured I would enjoy it for a few weeks until the next update. Now it kinda sucks that the updates are coming so fast now  :Smile-angry: .  Enjoy it guys for as long as its enjoyable. Then rant and rave against Wargames for screwing you out of all you hard work and taking away your favorite OP flavor of the month. And always remember,

I Play For Fun, Winning Is Fun, So Lets All Have Fun Together.
