I watched that with my scientist sister, who explained to me what everything meant.

Helpful stuff, thanks.
(Hopefully more people watch and learn, so as to complain less... like that would ever happen.)

Haven't watched the video yet, but it might be more beneficial if this was available in the game client or included as part of some kind of tutorial that can be accessed at any point in the game (not just as part of your first few matches).

Now more noobs will attempt to angle their armor in such a way that their sides will show so much you can just shoot there

This is where I wished I had paid attention during math class. Awesome video WG.

Doesn't explain how a Tier 3 Stuart bounced 35CA 90mm flank shot at impact angle of 2 degrees (ish).

Nothing new here. All the stuff they cover is standard things most people should know. What they don't cover is how I shoot 2 tier 9 shells in to the side of an arty at 25m and they both do zero damage. I think my almost 300mm pen should over power the 30mm of armor in the side especially when it's a flat surface. Not that it happens all the time but it does happen.

I would really like to see more transparency in the game mechanics here. There are a lot of players who don't take the time to read the wiki page or try to understand how a lot of things (the most prominent being matchmaking, penetration, and camo) work in game, and it would be simple to make that information more accessible.
An easy fix would be to make the information panel on the right side of the garage reflect the exact values of all the tank's statistics (including, but not limited to, camo factor and matchmaking) with all equipment, crew training, and skills taken into account, then possibly have a "details" button that can show you the base value of each stat and what affect the aforementioned modifiers have on it. Eventually this "tank details" page would maybe even have a diagram showing the exact armor values on the whole tank, instead of just the front/side/rear average value is.
I'm just throwing out some ideas, all I really want is to see more transparency in the game.

The information Really helped me out. The maunuever where you circle then turn suddenly to make them bounce seems like it willl work. Also turning your armor at a slope helps. I am to young yo do geometry so i dont really get the t=m or something like that But i get the angles. and slopes

You probably aimed too low and the shot hit the tracks and went under the tank missing the hull completely.

Does this video mention anywhere that pen mechanics don't matter since everyone uses prem shells :P

Claps* That was one of the best WG made video's that I have seen so far.
I use all of these techniques in battle and they have served me extremely well. I hope others can learn from this video
and improve so we can all have greater challenges in battle

Great video, I already knew this from reading the wiki and the forums but its very didactic and I'm sure its going to help newer players understand the game mechanics. Nice work.
