Nice.  I've actually been wondering what a high score even is.  Since a contest like this has never been run, we have no history to go on.

You definitely beat me. I figured the highest score was gonna be in the 20's. I was trying to get 15-20K in one game, but I gave up out of boredom.

I doubt I will even place if a lot of people are getting above 15. = (

...and I thought Orlik's would be the hard part.

I've been completely unsuccessful in getting Patrol Duty and then surviving all weekend long.  :(

I knew it was getting bad when I was *pissed off* after getting 2200XP when my team screwed around and I had to stop trying to spot for them and just kill a third of the enemy team myself.

Getting the achievements wasn't really that hard, although Patrol Duty was definitely the more difficult.  Getting the achievements on a high mileage game was another matter.  This screenshot pretty much sums things up:

I had a chance at stringing out an Orlik's game and blew it.  I was sad.  I also had to avoid friendly arty shells trying to tk me a few times.  I was happy.

I was tked a few times too for being a worthless noob ....    One guy told me that he knew that I was trying to get a good score in my 50-2 and tked me and promised to do it again if he seen me driving that tank anymore.    This was a really rough MVP.

Yea. I am sure my team was wondering wtf i was doing driving around in the backlines like a moron. On highway one time I drove up and down the A line for literally 8 minutes straight. The only time I would leave is if one side started loosing, I would go help, just enough to ensure we won the game, but the game lasted as long as possible.

To be honest I don't really like these types of MVP as they encourage crappy play. I mean how many of us were just driving around doing absolutely nothing. Is that what WG really wants to call a most valuable player?

Wow, you guys really had problems! On the other hand, I had too much luck.
In the first place, playing with a friendly Arty in Projorovka, and being active at the middle without die, got me 9km with Scout and Patrol. So, because I thought that getting Patrol with good km wasn't easy, I started to play 2 games: 1 with highest km and another with orlik.
First got one with 7km, but wasn't too good, so I played another and I got Fishing Bay... I said "Oh, God, I'll die in 2 mins here -.-"... But, lucky me, had fail teams on both sides, so I was running to one side spotting, then coming to base, then spotting then coming back, and so on. For a moment I thought that we were going to lose, but our arty kill 2 tiers 7, and then we were M6(afk) ,M41, M4 and me(50-2), against M18(High Red One), KV-1 and T1(afk). KV-1 went to our base, and our M6(afk) lighted him, so our arty (with my help) killed him. I kept running at the East Side (M18 was on West :P), and M18 get lighted again thanks our M6 (afk), again, arty got it. So, I typed (with 9 min remaining) "Please, dont kill the T1 yet, I need some km"... ¡And they didn't! With a miracle, they left the T1 at 1%, and killed him with 10 secs remaining and I got 15,79km :D
But my highest problem was the Orlik, I had not any Orlik with my 50 2, but I tried it anyways. Then I had problems. In too many occasions I had 1 or 2 kills and was saying (Don't Kill the JP! Don't Kill the Tiger! Don't Kill the IS and so on xD) and someone gets the kill. So, at the end, only got 2 Orliks, one with poor 2km and another with 4km.

In my opinion was a funny MVP, and wasn't easy because you had to play smart doing some for the team (spotting) and doing some for MVP (run run run, and kill 3 to get Orlik).

With all the deals, free premium and x5 xp event this weekend it was a challenge just to win a game.  For me personally, I just played my regular games and whatever km I got is what it is and I didn't do anything to risk losing a match.  I probably won't place and given some of the km numbers posted I can only imagine what foolery you were doing to achieve that, so your rewards are more a function of the rest of the team winning it for you than anything else.

If anything the only award you win is this badge:

If it bothers you this much to think the team had to carry us, then it would probably really irk you to realize that the rules only required the player to survive.  The battle did not have to end in a victory (aside from the Scout game ofc).

I am aware of that and doesn't bother me a bit because I know most games they will hunt you down and getting Patrol duty usually ends in victory (I have over 20 now and I think only 1 came from a loss) same with Orliks.

Maybe I should say you count on the rest of your team to keep the 15 enemy tanks from hunting you down and killing you while you do circles in the back and then hide.

Could not get patrol duty, and was close a bunch. I would never had amassed the mileage needed though. It is difficult to active scout in a vk 2801, at least for me. It is a much better stealth spotter for me. Orlik's is not hard, and I have had a number of patrol duties, but last week had me shut out.
