Howdy tankers, we've just launched the 8.1 update, but we're already hard at work on 8.2.  You may have seen the news for it yesterday on various websites, but it's been floating around under the radar for a while, even here in the office, but the Chinese Tree will make its debut soon, along with a retooling of more of the classic maps, and a series of new American Vehicles!

Heyooo, I was finally able to track down the source images I was after all last night and this morning. We've uploaded a US tech tree image, some renders, and bunch of screen shots to the article.

Where are the new US tank going in the tree?

2 things:

1. Why can't the in-game graphics be that good....
2. I wish we could force-turn the tank while one track is broken like in the video but it would increase repair time.

Aha, so the FCM 50t is Tier 7!

It simply wouldn't cut it as a Tier 8.

LOL, Chinese tanks, just more OP Russian tanks to appeal to the massive Russian audience, makes me laugh thanx wargaming.

Am I the only one not 100% keen on the chinese tanks? I'm not so sure on a tree made up of copies of tanks we already have in game. Also, how can something that is an IS-3 copy be a tier 10? That is if the 111 4/5 is actually the WZ-111 we have already seen as a premium tank.

Edit: It does feel a little bit like Wargaming are trying to hard to appeal to the vast Chinese market. You can rest assured that they would not have gone to such efforts to fabricate a tech tree for any other nation. Personally I think the Japanese had many more viable, interesting and original design.

not too excited about the new chinese tanks (they seem like a bunch of soviet rip offs to me), but those American autoloaders look like they're going to the real fun tanks of the patch. hopefully WG wont nerf them into the ground like they did with the 50b...

WG implemented Chinese tree to dent huge Chinese market... They had to do something to appeal to Chinese gamers even if Chinese tank industry didn't really exist during those years.

It's a business decision; they have to do what's good for their business.

Japanese or even Italian tanks would have been much better imho. WG is thinking money but can you blame them?

Where is da USA tech-tree?? I gotta start grinding   (FINALLY MORE USA TANKS TO PWN WITH!)... I think I still have 26k XP left on my M7 so I hope the tree does start there.
